A Beer Drinkers Guide To Medieval Ghent + Trading Shoes For Beer 🇧🇪
A new adventure begins. We set off to explore the city of Ghent, in the Flemish region of Belgium. A few stragglers came along with us, The Gravels, and The Dirts. Longtime friends. We delved deep into the culture (Hops), and took some time to explore the Castle of Gravensteen which for the life of me I could not say correctly. Bare with me folks, and come along as we explore this beautiful city.

We don't know anything about Bangkok, come along as we explore the bustling capital of Thailand on foot for the first time!
Here's my take on this! Probably tourists don't like the Italian themes, and the reality said it all. However, if you go to the French Village in Bana Hills, DaNang where tourists from all over the world every day flock to the fake French castles. Go figure! Also in my opinion, all the fishing boats are planted there, so are all the sea stars on the beach.
I hope u made in out! Malaysia has many crazy laws?
Cool to see! I was just there a couple weeks ago.
Thank for watching! Did you get good weather on your trip?
@@FrankMudd Only a little rain and most days were clear with little fog so I was lucky with pretty good weather.
homelessness is everywhere. we dont have killer winters tho.
Awesome! Thank you guys lol the joy travelling and making the best of it! Am heading there in October
"Lanka"?? 😂I think you mean "laksa". I like that you looked into the history of the city. If you're interested in that sort of thing and prefer to get away from the big city, you should look into coming to Sarawak one day. It's in East Malaysia (on the island of Borneo) and is very different in terms of culture and history compared to West Malaysia. Unlike the rest of Malaysia, Sarawak was not colonised by the Brits but was under the rule of James Brooke a.k.a "the White Rajah" after he was rewarded by the Sultan of Brunei for successfully sorting out the piracy issue and internal disputes amongst indigenous tribes. The Brooke family was very much accepted by the Sarawak natives and still highly respected to this very day. I suggest you look into it, it's all very interesting. It was even made into a movie (although I heard it did not do well commercially).
The antenna u wr refering to is with a size of a building, not just one stick antenna u see on ur daily basis. Its illusion of eyes. That building itself is massive. If its just antenna like stick, u wont see it from far, jeez.
Habibi came to dubai???? Nope... Habibi came to malaysia😊😊😊yesssss fly to most beautiful city in the world😂😂😂
As a traveller u need to do a lil bit research about the country u want to go. Thats some basic things. If not, yea it will have a good chance to happen things like what happen to u, denied from entrying a country. Btw, FYI The tip u said on top of Merdeka 118 tower is not cheating. It is counted by official organization as its height bcs it is actually a SPIRE, not an Antenna. A spire is counted bcs it is useable for people, while ANTENNA cant. It is the same case for Burj Khalifa which had over 200M of spire. Official record of tallest building in the world cant be cheated by builders bcs the record is organized by official organization not self claim by builders themselves
I like both of you honest view but it can get backlash from the local viewers that are sensitive and patritotic..it happened to many youtubers before mostly from the West as most Asians are proud with their countries. Kuala Lumpur or Malaysia as a whole is the second most developed country in South East Asia after Singapore. Of course it still need a lot of work to be done ...however compared to developed countries included Germany and Canada as I have been to both countries even I lived nearly 2 decades in Europe, there are so many flaws as well and not all places are clean and organised. No country is perfect, but if you have a small country like Singapore or Monaco it much easier to manage it. Enjoy your travelling and keep your eyes and mind opened.
Dismal viewership. Should do better. Can do better.
The building and the tip on the top of Merdeka 118 is actually a representation of Tunku Abdul Rahman (the 1st Prime Minister) posture standing and raise his hand proclaiming "Merdeka Merdeka Merdeka". So it is not cheating but a historic representation of what happened on August 31st 1957.
KL, Malaysia has provided a refuge for you to be "stranded" when you were in trouble... and your parting words at the end of the video were "so excited to go to Vietnam"?
What's wrong with that? They obviously still like Malaysia and nothing wrong for them being excited get to go to their original destination.
that where they want to go in the first place. that okey maybe one day they will open to go to Malaysia and see what our country got to offer.
You're joking, right? I can't tell. I mean, Vietnam was their original destination so why wouldn't they be excited to resume their original plans?
@@Mohdashmandtk dtg pun tkpe la.good riddance Le org cmni

Tired of the big City in Malaysia, go to Borneo Malaysia..Sabah & Sarawak.
I think Americans need Visa to Vietnam too. That's the punishment Americans get for fighting the Comms in Vietnam.
So why do other countries need a visa for Vietnam?
@@EGO0808 Many countries including mine does NOT need Visa to Vietnam. US Passport is supposedly very strong..afterall it is a Superpower country. It chooses who can go to its country Visa Free. But Vietnam DO NOT allow Americans n Canadians to enter Freely.
@@ninjaturtle6106 Again, why do some countries in the EU need a visa and other countries within EU do not? All have a 'strong' passport.
@@EGO0808 Heard of Google? How about AI?
@@ninjaturtle6106 ok, got it, you have no idea. :-) What I am saying, there are many countries with strong passports, like the USA, that still require a Visa for Vietnam, including my country The Netherlands. We never had any beef or were in involved in any war with Vietnam, yet we need a Visa (And the Netherlands has one of the world's strongest passports). So it has nothing to do with the past war, it is just a policy, often based on reciprocity (among other criteria).

The river of life is an on going project. But the government reach a stumbling with some financial problem 😅
The three remaining partners of the federation of Malaysia - Malaya, Sabah & Sarawak - has different culture and history each. Sarawak was ruled by the White Rajah for a 100 years until the Japanese Occupation. After that, Sarawak was seceded to the British crown and then became part of Malaysia. Sabah was under the administration of the North Borneo co. also until the Japanese Occupation and then handed over to the British. British didn't rule Sabah & Sarawak that long. If you're interested in a museum, head over to Kuching, Sarawak (Sarawak's capital city) and visit the second largest museum in SEA (currently largest in Malaysia) - the Borneo Cultures Museum.
Usually they are immigrants ,who simply bring negative remarks from tourists

That hotel is nice. May I know the name of the hotel please? TQ.
Petronas Twin tower is the tallers Twin Tower in the world. Burj Kalifa is the tallers single tower .
Don't forget Burj khalifa with the tallest antenna in the world (250 meters high) That's why Burj khalifa is the tallest building in the world 😂
Nope, it is a spire. Antenna does not count as building height, only spire counted bcs it is useable. Not like antenna. So Burj Khalifa height of over 800m is legit. No cheating there. Its the same case for PNB118.
Top 8 tallest buildings in Kuala Lumpur 1) Merdeka PNB 118 - 679 meters (second tallest building in the world) 2) The Exchange TRX 106 - 454 meters (one of the luxury and expensive mall in KL) 3) Pertronas Twin Towers - 452 meters (Tallest Twin Towers in the world) 4) KL tower - 421 meters 5) Oxley Tower - 346 meters 6) Four Seasons Hotel - 343 meters 7) Menara Telekom Tower TM Tower - 310 meters 8) 8 Conlay KL - 308 meters

Yup, they are illegal immigrants and asylum seeker not expat nor locals
Yes, as Malaysia
The east coast of the Malaysian peninsular n East Malaysia i.e Sabah n Sarawak have beautiful beaches n islands.
it's rare to see tourists interested in history 😄
Singapore was actually "asked" to leave malaysia
Good to know! I'll have to do some more research. Thanks!
asked? Sounds far more polite than I've seen in a documentry.
It's true. They didn't want to apart from Malay but it happened and the country has become rich lol.

But I think Burj khalifa is cheating with more than 250 meters high antenna LOL 😂. That's why Burj khalifa is the tallest building in the world 😂😂
Absolutely right 🔛🔝
Also it is not cheating bcs that is a spire not antenna. Which is useable. So its count as a building height while antenna cant be count bcs its not useable like spire. People need to differentiate that between spire and antenna.
Looks like you came during Chinese New Year and things can get very intense during that time in KL. Malaysia has a huge Chinese & Buddhist populations btw eventhough they are not the majority race. You are right as well, the maintenance of the river has been lazy at best. You are at a pretty nice area, if you go to the not so pleasant area, that particular river become even worse. Having said that, compared to 20 years ago KL is wayyyy cleaner than it used to be. We have come so far but we still have a lot of work to do. Anyway hope u enjoy your stay & hope u will come back in the future.
Perhaps you should do your homework before trying to enter another country and assuming they’ll just let you in. A visa request takes a few hours to approve. Lesson learned, don’t assume and you won’t be disappointed when immigration doesn’t break the rule for you because you are Canadian…
Lesson learned! Thanks for watchin 👍
Chill out buddy. No need to get triggered over nothing. 😂
