My second junior race ever, and definitely not my best race I've had. I seem to really struggle in Wisconsin with how cold it is, and it did not help that this year's race was only one TENTH of a degree over wetsuit legal. My body is just not made for the cold and I'm used to the heat of Texas. At least I finished :)

This was my first junior race and it went really well! I want to mention that this race is 1 month(ish) after I came off of an emergency surgery for appendicitis. It actually started on my way to Clermont, the first race of the season, and we had to got to a hospital IN Florida. I had to be smart and not extend my recovery and then work really hard to be able to compete and race in Fort Worth, ...
