i visited this memorial site when I was very young girl I was only about 11 years old and I remember my mom was very adamant about us going to see it and me understanding because I learned and taught myself about much much much about it and watch videos and and made myself cry over the losses and the devastation, but I didn’t particularly want to go there and I remember arriving and not thinking much of it because I was so young and the second I walked up to the edge of the pool and I put my hand along someone’s name who would passed saving saving or being a soul that was just innocently and I just remember the feeling being so overwhelming I cannot stop. The tears was so intense. There was so much emotion drawn over me.

My husband and I got married in 1998 and planned our wedding on a limited budget. I bought a dress off the rack and my mom and I went to M&S to find flowers to sew on it to make it into something special. I will never forget walking into their factory that day and being amazed by all the exquisite flowers everywhere. The artists that create them are incredibly talented. I no longer have the dress but do have the flowers and they are as beautiful as the day I bought them!
