I didn’t understand where this character suddenly got his hair, nose, ears and lips. I've never seen this creature in a video.

Before I am tempted into trying to sculpt anything for the first time, what about the topology of the model at the end of creation? Would it be animation ready?
yeah, it’s ready for rigging and animation. And if you want to bring the details of the hi poly, you have to bake it down

oh, I think 3,5 years from the first sculpting. But I think after learning 2 years, I could make this already. Like the girl in my avatar, I made it long before this one.
@@InnerWind that is very fast progress, i have been sculpting for like 1 month and all my faces look like aliens
besides learning sculpting, we have to learn anatomy along. It’s the most important.

after sculpting, could we actually rig the character?
I rigged it roughly to pose. U can see it in the full process Video. But to actually rig it, we need a pro rigger. I get difficulty when I rig the sleeves, but It’s possible.

I just joined those two mesh ( ctrl J) then switched to sculpt mode and remesh it (ctrl R)

i am afraid of sculpting when the mesh become like big pixel but i see you dont get bothered and you smooth it later. What is the trick? till now i cant figure out how to use dynotopo.
I’m sorry. I don’t use dyntopo so often. So I can’t give you any advice. It seems just should be used at a big mesh, and remesher make it become too heavy.

damn this looks good, also i really want to know just how difficult is it to model clothes without the quad remesher? For now i am just adding cloths to the base mesh by extracting the torso topology using facesets and using it as a shirt, i sculpted some detail with multi res on the shirt, and since it is a retopologized mesh it is really easy to modify with multi res. anyways have a nice day

i have finished the sculpt and the retopo but when you do the multi res and shrink warp you retopo looks fine but my retopo has lots of holes inn them same as the nose area in your video tried moving the verts around and it still show deformation on the mesh
hm… raise the lvl of multires, the problem still maintaining?
@@InnerWind raising multi res lvl does nothing, instead i used the inflate brush before applying the shrinkwrap mod on the areas where the mesh was deforming and that worked really well, i'm just finishing the mouth cavity/pouch thingy, also i have a question did you not bake the details from sculpt to the retopo, the shrink wrap was somthing new i never knew it could be used like that and why did you apply the multi res then unsubdivide the multi res , anyways i got to learned alot from watching your videos and i cannot appreciate it enough, thank you very much have a great day
@@TheToptenFacts26 wow, you watched my video so carefully. Reason, I apply then unsubdiv multires again is, after so many time we modify the highest lvl of multires, it's make the highest lvl so different from lvl 0, so I apply then re-unsubdiv to make the lvl 0 and the highest lvl more uniformity (this way better than "apply base" in multiress modifier)

about the error of the shrink wrap modifier, you may change the Snap mode or Wrap Method in Shrink Wrap modifier to fix it, I guess, not sure 😁

It's take me about 2 - 3 weeks, depending how detail of the concept. About Unreal Engine, I will try to work on it when I have time. Unfortunately, I quite busy for now.
how did u rescale the arms on 10:37? did u just put the origin on the shouder and used the normal scale? amazing video, it will help so much! thx a lot! could u make a video giving some tips about retopo?
yeah, You can put the origin of the arm on the shoulder and scale it, remember choose Transform Pivot point - Active Element. Or you can put the 3D cursor there, and choose Transform Pivot point - 3D cursor. Hope this can help you.

You have tutorials. I try, but I end up with so many voxels blender crashes
If your computer is not strong, try to split into more separate meshes. Then retopo to combine them all, with multires/shink wrap modifier (as in my Video). Computer would be easier to handle it.
