An electric moped that looks like a real motorcycle but only goes 40 km/h and takes three hours to reach another city 100 km away, requiring two batteries each costing 1000 euros... I'm not very convinced about this one. It seems poorly designed with high costs to get anywhere, and so slow that I would fall asleep halfway there! People have told me that if you hold in the brake handle, you can make it go faster, like 65 km/h... but if you do that, the batteries drain so quickly that Super Soco decided to remove this feature on the new models because people didn’t want to buy new batteries every year. Is there no way to make it go faster? Is this information really correct, or is there a way to improve its performance so it goes faster and the batteries still last? Anyone with a workshop that can do this with a Super Soco in 2024? Thanks!

Any ideas on why the caliper may be stuck (like someone is holding the brake lever)? Mine got stuck after a period of sitting in the garage. The dashboard shows 98% error code when you push the throttle and I think that’s the battery error code. Battery still charging and holding charge normally though. Appreciate any info!

I saw one of these for sale on facebook marketplace $3990, despite the low price there's no way I'm paying 4000 dollars to limp along at 30mph or 50kmh, so no freeway driving as in Perth you are legally required to do at least 60kph on any freeway. I can just see me in the extreme left lane tootling along at less than 50kph on a freeway that has a maximum of 100kph and in some areas 110kph, and all the cars fuming and swearing as they line up behind me trying to pass me going less than 50kph. How anyone can charge nearly $5000 for a new one of these, may as well ride a bicycle on the freeway, also legally not allowed. Now yes in England they may be ok. But even there no motorway travel and the autobahns, no fear. I can see no logical use for these, overpriced useless contraptions and a steal at $5000 but coming from the dealers end. In 🇦🇺 Australia, worse than a moped and 5 times the price. Yes they look lovely and sound great but in reality just a high priced novelty 50cc scooter.

Have this too and I like it fine .... and if your lighting does not go off, just open your handle and move the wire at the light switch . . And if you turn on the switch, your lamp will immediately switch to low beam or high beam, whichever you choose. If you want to have the headlight off, add an extra steering wheel switch and then interrupt the black wire at the headlight and solder the switch in between.
