Or you can not pay 4£ for template when you can use Drawing Guide => Edit Drawing Guide=> 2D Grid=> Grid size => and set it to whatever you want.

Do you have any advice for adding texture to monocolor fur? I can’t figure it out at all. Especially with white, any counter colours I try are either too dark and not make it no longer mono or not visible. I try to imitate the triangle layering of fur better artists do but I just get ugly pencil marks that don’t have light direction. It’s especially confusing when working without any background so the only light can be the most forward facing parts being slightly brighter.

Beautifully explained. I’m just starting out with procreate and am in the learning phase trying to draw as many different things as I can and learning in the process. The tip about laying the big colours first and then building up layers and being okay with it looking ugly in the beginning is a game changer for me, so thank you
