Is the strategy right? Is it enough? The Matts discuss. Also … why you’ve got to go and see The Brutalist. If AI is going to save the UK, who will save Rachel Reeves?
Просмотров 39121 день назад
Keir Starmer threw his lot in with a computing revolution today - is his confidence in Artificial Intelligence’s ability to transform the UK economy grounded in reality? The Matts have questions. Meanwhile, and not unrelated to today’s announcement, the economy (you may have noticed this) is proving stubbornly resistant to Starmer’s enthusiasm. As his beleaguered Chancellor defends her recent t...

Why are Labour making life so hard for themselves?
Great discussion.
It was a bad mistake, opposed to a good mistake 🤦♂️
This guy is an absolute moron!
Complete idiot stay in Spain please
Hello to both of you. Thank you for yet another interesting and informative conversation. Always a good listen. But I have to say, you knocked it out of the park with your zip conundrum. And I look forward to the follow up on the front page of the newspaper very soon.
Such a great guest.
Brilliant discussion. Thanks to everyone for bringing it to us.
You don’t see us We speak and you put your fingers in your ears and say we know better
Hey Matt’s. Thanks for the reasonable voices. Re audience for the brutalist at the cinema; People who have artistic understanding are not thin on the ground. We’re just impoverished in time artistic space and change.
Starmer is a fool. He's birthing Reform with his lack of ability as a leader
Britain has nothing to worry about with Trump. Everything he says about other countries applies to almost everywhere on the planet except Britain.
Militant position pn gender.Really???
Unlike Britain, we haven’t turned our back on Christ. Hate it or love it, you’re going to respect it.
No, we're not, you pillock, We're gonna have a giggle at your expense
@ you’ll be laughing at no one with the state of your country… your next reply with begin with “alhamdulillah”
@@JordanTaylor8u Mate, I'm laughing my cream crackers off at you right now. You really are a comical little feller. Keep it up

Love this podcast.
The arrogance. A man comes along and does what you never could, and none of your people could, and you are desperate for it and recognise it as essential - AND YOU DRIBBLE THIS BULLSHIT OUT
Thank all the academics who convinced everyone that outsourcing, JIT, and balanced score cards was the way to increase profits and reduce expenses 😂😂😂😂😂
A maniac ? No wars on his watch last time he was in . What are you talking about ?
This Oligarchy narrative is ridiculous. Kamala’s campaign spent $1.5B in 15 weeks! Where do you think that money came from? The working class? Another own goal by the Dems.
I was going to leave too but now I might just stay. Poundshop Rob won't be missed, that's for sure.
More impersonations-please and thank you.
That is an amazing assumption.
5:55😂
Or put everyone out of work
I don't really care where the specific number comes from! Embracing AI is a good thing but it comes with very real concerns and this extends beyond just here in the UK. Real regulation is essential as it has or at least will have capabilities which are very dangerous!
There are researchers who are trying to develop algorithms to extract individual training sets from AI models (deep learning models). Now, we've still got a long way to go, but the risk is there that individual information can be extracted from generic models.
Thanks, Chaps-get those loins tight-girded for Inauguration/Peace in Ukraine Day-now less than a week away.
When the history of this conflict is written, it will be written by artificial intelligence trained not to write anything bad about artificial intelligence.
What is happening in the market has very little to do with the UK economy. Once this country and it's commentators can stop navel gazing we might start living in reality.
These guys are squirming. The Catholic church was worse? But its not about religion or culture etc .
Anyome who says there shouldn't be an inquiry is not concerned about the issue , or about future occurrence of the issue . The only reason they didn't want an inquiry is to protect the politicians who stood by and let it happen. Remember underlying all this is an idealogical belief from left wingers and neo liberals that all cultures are equal. Inplying that people like Musk or others are far right and disingenuous is a typical progressive slur. We shouldn't allow people to raise the issue in bad faith. Yet the good faith politicians and progessives with the decent mindest and pluralistic mindset purposely allowed the problem to continue unaddressed. Theyve lost the moral high ground and they are twisting their way put of it by pushing podcasts like this. You are witnessing the loss of political power in real time of the progessive project. Its only brought death and destruction and broken societies, and this issue brings it all home to who is responsible.
Is McSweeney related to the nun from Derry Girls?
Right wing turds plop out this Rachel from accounts stuff, so your first response is to cut your questioner down to size. Turd from t'internet, have a bit of decorum in your questioning, otherwise people will think you are a brainless piece of shit.
Sean Connery did wear a wig but only for film roles. He did not wear a wig ‘in real life’, and he did not opt for hair transplants, unlike Trump and Musk.
The problem today is that increasingly algorithms are deep learning models that are black boxes. No one knows what the models have learned, which is why we get the so-called hallucinations, in which we get the occasional nonsensical output, but cannot really explain what happened.
What about girls who've been sexually abused by gangs of white men? While the data collected on the ethnicity of perpetrators is imperfect, as many as 85% of gangs are white men. However, the media have focused on people from ethnic backgrounds. Also, what about the protection of girls from ethnic backgrounds who are totally invisible in all of this? Finally, what about the 1 in 5 victims who are boys? The Jay report made 20 recommendations to improve the protection of children from sexual abuse. The Tories said they accepted 18 of those recommendations but did nothing to enact any of them - no laws were made; no Acts of Parliament passed. We need action, not more investigations.
I suspect John Major and all you remoaners still deny the holocaust happened because it suits your limited powers of thinking.
the diver who "sued" Musk for defamation lost, Musk owns the world legally and otherwise
Musk is right. Sadly Britain is a peado state
I would sooner vote for Elon Musk than any of the garbage currently trying to ruin Britain from Whitehall.
Why dont you talk about why Are Governments MPs stood up in Parliament and supported GENECIDE COULD IT BE THAT 230 plus MPs are MEMBERS OF ISREALI LOBBIES WHY Starmer Reeves Phillips Rainer all members Reeves Gave Millions to the Holocaust Committee while simultaneously taking away Pensioners heating..But lets talk about R LOCAL Councillors who like are MPs are also members of the Israeli lobbys and Trump Elon Agenda is a massive threat to Isreal So while were at it are these two MEMBERS OF THE LOBBY R u
wtf is wrong with you people? Why would Musk have to run his opinion by Trump? You just admitted you want to pit Musk and Trump against each other.. Y'all are pathetic..
The thing is - the cave diver who rescued those children already tried suing Musk and he lost :/ seems that the rule of law might not be all its cracked up to be when pitched against the world's richest internet troll.

No, not the worst. War forecsst for 2027/28. We are simply building up to it. This year probably more civil unrest since everyone who disagrees with the govt appears to be a far right thug.
Lengthen all you want, lads-this episode was packed with nothing but good, provocative, useful stuff. Thanks, as always.
Elon musk is right the government are culpable. Free speech is an absolute right . These fools
You sir are a gobshite 😂😂😂😂
Also, as for race riots. BLM riots cost 2 BILLION in damages and 12 whites were killed for being white by blacks. Should they be arrested or do they not count. One supposedly incited violence and the other killed 12 people. Which one has been prosecuted?
Without free speech we have nothing. Also you say it breaks the law to invite violence, it's also against the law what happened in Rotherham and 49 other UK towns. Free speech is absolute, you're more likely to be arrested in the UK by % for a mean tweet than you are if you rape a child. Keep that in mind, pedophiles are less likely to be arrested than a tweet.
Absolute bellend he wont be missed.....
