Actually I sold it because I could not justify having this luxury bible when I had the Longprimer 53 which I love and am reading at the moment. The 62 was very beautiful but I did not use it more than maybe twice, so went to an appreciative owner 😀📖✝️

That’s great! These are very beautiful books on the best paper and in a lovely large font with type on the left page and a full empty page on the right to use as you wish. I don’t have the full set but do have about 10 of them, and Psalms and Romans get a lot of use! God’s blessing be upon you in His holy word. 🙏📖✝️

I have the NASB Quentel and it’s my favourite translation next to my favourite which is the LSB. So good choice! To answer your question, when I read my premium bibles I am reading the text, not looking at the whole page, therefore concentration is on the lines naturally. Just looked at my merlot PSQ to check for you about show through and quite honestly it is barely there, and I don’t notice it. Hope this helps you decide. It is very pale, not that noticeable, and I only saw it when I took close up photos! Probably no one has ever noticed but me! It is a special bible.

I am now also reading the NASB Quentel but the ‘95 and it’s a very good translation, as well as the KJV Treveris. The LSB is still an unique translation being that NASB KJV combo.

I have bibles wih all kinds of yapp sizes nowadays, but this bible does have full yapp.

I am curious. What makes you think that you know the mind of God? The best translations come from the same KJV base ground of languages. Btw, where did you learn the thing that gives you your particular point of view on the subject of the KJV?

Best of luck! Give it a go nonetheless. You may not think you are absorbing but your subconscious mind does as you cover the lines and the pages. Then read normally the rest of the time in another bible if you have two. It is an interesting experience and something we might not normally consider doing. God bless.

This calfskin is a thicker feel than goatskin yet has a beautiful smoothness to it with a slight gloss as a brand new bible. Since I had 2 PSQ’s in ESV I have not used this one but put it on eBay for sale. It was a luxury buy but decided I could not justify keeping it! The goatskin is very usable and flexible and wears extremely well. I would say I prefer goatskin but saying so, I have honestly not used a calfskin other than the Church Bible Publisher’s ones which is a thinner, very soft leather that they use. The Schuyler calfskin looks and feels amazing and would last a lifetime. I think that unless we buy and try we don’t really know, you know? One leather I do love and have used the most is the ESV Omega in brown Horween leather which is one of my favourite leathers which is thick, silky and sumptuous and shows every mark which I just love! I have seen the reviews of the Heritage. I like single column and have a KJVTreveris which has a perfect textblock for my (one) eye. The bible I have had my eye on is the NASB in, wait for it......Black Pearl calfskin! I've not read the NASB yet but would like the '95 if I ever buy another bible. I have 3 on ebay right now and aught to get maybe another up to try to recoup some funds. Shipping to Australia is massive, unfortunately.

Hello Gina, that makes two of us spending a lot of time every day in the word! About 4 years ago I didn't know anything about premium bibles, then was given one and now have a small collection. The green Quentel in this review is on eBay for sale right now. I have the Cambridge dark blue NKJV Topaz which I am keeping, so decided to part wih the green. Still have the small one, though. I agree, premium leather bibles in the typeface we like best, does make reading a pleasure. God's blessings...Jae

I know, my error of speech! It is a good bible and is my car one which I have use donce and gave away to someone a couple weeks ago whom the Lord is beginning to draw to him. I bought a new one as a replacement last week which has a slightly different cover design in the same colours since I could not get this design where I buy from here in Austalia.

I was KJV only originally because I had not read another translation till a bit over 3 years ago after a brother in Christ in America sent me a NKJV which is a wonderful bible, so King James without the thee's and thou's of old. Also I read the ESV which is still literal and based upon the KIng James. I was wondering if you would read one of thses if you had one. All bibles are a gift from God, and he speaks through his holy word to those who are saved by his grace and mercy upon us. God bless, Jae

Right now I do not believe there are any in stock right now, since I was checking up on things 2 days ago. If you are at all interested, I am selling this one since it is brand new and I don't use it. It has always been in the box. I have some really nice photos showing it's colour better than here. And, I have just put it on my eBay page for sale.

The Horween leather feels wonderful and this is my most read bible for this reason and for the superb type style and contrast of the ink to paper. Being thin line makes it easier to hold, since I do not read at a table. So glad that the introduction of some folded and cut to size tissue paper is something you will consider doing. It is so disappointing to see those damaged first bible paper pages, isn’t it?
