I used to live by Navajo reservation (I am not native) but we would have constant footsteps on our roofs and mimic voices. I one time told my friend at school and then she told her mom, and her mom came and blessed our house. Still terrified years later. Everyone at my school had some sort of story like that.

I’ve had a few strange dreams or crazy nightmares type😮 One I had recently was where I was in a house but kept hearing knocking at the front door which I kept looking out the peephole but nothing and kept going of cat and mouse but I finally opened the door but like before,nothing and I looked at something at the distance then boom a weird spirit came out at me from my right side and I woke up to see it was 3:30am and I looked all over the room but happened to look over at my daughter awake and staring at me and smiled at me and went back to sleep 😴 I’ve even had some nightmares like one of a old colony just forming through the 13 colonies and shapeshifter kept killing the town 😮

I just keep thinking there are so many "historical mysteries" across the world like where the Anasazi people went, that if people just asked the native custodians of the land... Well, they would at least have a starting point to investigate😂

In the Michigan area, the local native tribes there befriended with Finnish settlers, all the way from the 18th century if I'm not mistaken. They called Finnish people "The White Men Who Are Like Us". Finns never caused any trouble to the tribes, nature, land or animals there and if there were any disputes between the local natives and the settlers, Finnish settlements were left alone. You can find documentaries of this and interviews of Findians, as native American + Finnish heritage people call themselves.

I have discovered your channel just recently and I love it! I'm from Finland, North Europe, and our native faith is similarly respectful of nature, nature spirit, animals, animal spirits, ancestors etc. as yours. Even today, while our old faith has unfortunately withered away, some little things remain. Like, you can NEVER make ruckus, yell, scream, or cause trouble in a forest. You can't go hurting the plants, trees and animals in a forest. That is just rude. You do not want to upset the spirits and deities living there. You go there, walk silently, enjoy the nature and don't leave a mess behind. It has also always been forbidden to kill a bear when its hibernating. When hunting a bear, the bear needs to have a fair chance. After the kill, the bear had to be respected with certain ceremonies or the bear spirit would come to hurt us. Another example; when a young man was ready to move out from his childhood home and have a home of his own, he had to go out and find himself a spruce tree. After finding a spruce he liked, he needed to sleep underneath it for 3 nights. If he had any nightmares or unpleasant dreams, the three was rejecting him. He had to get up and find another tree. When he finally found a tree which let him sleep underneath it peacefully for 3 nights and thus accepted him, the young man had to build his house near this tree. The spruce was now his guardian and advisor to whom he needed to go whenever he was troubled and needed help. He also needed to respect the tree with offerings. When the young man got married, a rowan or a birch was planted on the yard, unless there already was one. This tree became wife's guardian and advisor, to whom the wife had to go to ask for help and guidance when needed. I wish that you could make a video of the story how animals lost their ability to speak, and more about communication with animal spirits from your perspective.

I was chased by one, after I dropped off my friends at their homes, I went on a road to look at the stars, heard footsteps running and I quickly grabbed my knife as I ran around the car into the driver seat, I got in, locked the doors, and looked out my passenger window, and a black silhouette of a wolf or dog looking back at me through the window, I grabbed my flashlight without looking away and then flash my light at the silhouette, but nothing was there, I had my ash, and even though I'm a lot skeptical of our culture, I put the ash on my head, heart, and my knife, then I started driving and that's when I noticed it looked like it was following me, so I floored it out of there,I was out in the boonies, so there was no one around and no houses for at least 1/4 mile from where I was, I averaged 65-82 mph, I knew the road well so I knew when to slow down and when to speed up, I'm glad the moon was full, because after a little while my lights on the vehicle went out and wouldn't turn back on until I got to the four way stop light in town. Pretty scary, but not my first experience with a yani.

Shanclen I hope you read this. A few months ago I went on a hike that I've gone on many times. As I walked, I sensed a presence. Not good or bad, just present and watching. So much so, that I stopped, looked around to the north, south, east and west to see if I saw anyone or anything watching me. I then looked at the dirt in front of me, and at my feet, was a beautiful brown feather with some small white spots...of a hawk or an owl. I admired it and put in my satchel and forgot about it. That night I dreamt that I was talking to someone and I told them about the feather I found. I pulled it out of my satchel and I gave it to them. I didnt get it back and then I woke up. The first thing I did after I woke up is go to my satchel to look for the feather but it was gone. What gives? Did I really just hand a physical object to an astral being? If so, why?
