In this video I will be replacing a driver side seatbelt and splicing a new airbag sensor for my 2006 4Runner 4th Generation.
This does requires a couple of tools including:
Socket wrench with 10mm, 5/8, and 9/16
Flat head screw driver
Phillips screw driver
Remember to unplug your battery before getting started.
I purchased all of the parts from a salvage yard on a 2009 4Runner. Everything matched up fine and worked correctly.
This job was very simple to do however if you are not confident in doing this procedure it is always best to take it to a professional especially when dealing with any SRS components.

How to Move Furniture: How to Wrap a Large Heavy Oversized Desk

This video will show you how to wrap an oversized office desk. All I used in this video was three movers blankets and one roll of stretch wrap. To lighten up the desk I removed all drawers prior to the video and wrapped them individually. Most of these desks do not come apart and have to be moved as one. Sometimes you are able to remove the feet from the bottom, if you can I would recommend doi...

How to Move Furniture: How to Properly Wrap and Protect a Sofa or Couch for a move. You will only need 3-4 pads per couch and 1 roll of plastic stretch wrap. First place pads over the couch to ensure full coverage and no material is exposed. Begin stretch wrapping the top side of the couch. Flip the couch onto its backside, remove any feet if possible. This will protect the feet from any damage...
Why use blankets?
Good video!
Where you get that little mental ground thing?
Easy simple instructions, thanks brother your a life saver!
Nice job MATE, WILL MIMIC YOU NOW
Dr, why you do not take off the legs?
I followed your video step by step and my couch looks beautifully wrapped! Thanks for your video, it made me feel like a pro! I loved the X process. Thanks a million!!!
Pads are on the wrong side bro. Light blue against the furniture.
Appreciate your input, we put light blue side out on things to indicate they are fragile or need extra care. Have not had one issue using it either way. We use high quality blankets as well.
Ok for amateurs but should have a slipper and piano wheel's
Why wouldn't you remove the pillow from the couch before wrapping it? Why wrap the pillow with the couch?
Just keeps everything together, if not you have a bunch of loose pillows and the chances of them getting dirty or damaged increases. Depending on size of couch I would sometimes remove
This is not the way my friend
Thanks for the tutorial. First time wrapping a couch! Lol
did you had to change the passenger airbag too?
No because time of accident it did not deploy. It currently works. You do have to send the airbag module to a company to reset though
This is wrong stretch wrap shrink wrap will hold in moisture in your rug !! And your Rug will mildew and MOLD !!! NOW you're expensive rug is ready for the TRASH !!!!!!!! Watch videos from professional RUG VENDOR'S !!!
Hey bud appreciate your feedback. The purpose of this video is to show someone how they can wrap up a rug for a move. This is not a long term storage solution. At most this rug will be rolled up for a few hours, really don’t see it causing mildew or mold.
Hello bro, where can I buy the airbags and seat belt
I got mine from a local Toyota salvage yard, from a 4 runner that was not in a wreck. I don’t think you can find a place online due to safety concerns and liability both on parts and installation.
Professional piano mover here! I’ve moved over 10,000 pianos so far in my career. Please don’t listen to this person. I am surprised the bow leg or lyre did blow out on this dipshit.
Thank you for not making this video any longer then needed. 👍🏽
Do you recommend to take out the empty drawers? Or will taping it without damaging the paint Then cloth and wrap? Im thinking of putting things in storage so im not sure if I should disassemble all dressers, nightstands, tables etc?
We typically leave everything in the drawers and dressers minus anything fragile or breakable. I wouldn’t recommend using tape directly on the furniture especially while keeping in storage for a long time. If your furniture is too heavy with the drawers you can always take them out but you will just have more pieces to account for and potentially damage some of the drawers as well.
I do it with one blanket
I watched to see how you got it up the uhaul ramp because I have to get ours out of storage and there's no angles I can use to benefit me on the ramp angle so it is what it is. We're looking at around 600lbs and my brother and I couldn't do it. I could possibly get two more people but it still seems sketchy and would hate to spend all the money to go try and not be able to do it. We had like 5 mormon kids help us get it in the uhaul the first time and 2 or 3 to get it down the ramp but it was super sketchy.
Ya man sometimes stuff with a lot of weight can be super sketchy going up the ramp. Love to have a lift gate when possible but if not the more hands the better!
How much did it cost to use all that wrap?😮
Maybe 10 cents if I had to guess.
This looks so great! I’m only moving to a new unit across the complex but this’ll teach my neighbors how not to jack up our halls 😂😂😂
Can you do a video non how to pack a couch and a queen mattress and boxspring tightly on a pickup truck for a move? Thanks
Yes I can, are you planning to move soon?
@@smartestmover1239 Yes. In the past; I’ve noticed that no matter who helps with move they can never figure this out in a way that’s safe for long distance driving or even how to cover for rain protection. Thank you so much
Shouldn’t that ground strap had been removed when they were running the 4 wires with the green wire running to it.
Should have been the discussion about the color of wires what they mean what they're function is positive negative whatever. Also why not use an adapter.
Some electricians told me not to do it, one told me it's perfectly okay. Who do i believe? The idea on no ground wire. I've been told it's not recommended. Love to have your thoughts.
What's up friend! I have a GE DRYER, and I think the previous owner had this DRYES change to 110V. 1) How can I check if this GE dryer is a 220v? 2)How can I swap it back to 220V? 3) Would you have a video showing how I can check all these information? 4) model is GE dryer Mod # GTDP301EL1WS SeR. # VV740839A TKX
Do you do just by yourself or you are two guys?
Typically always go with two guys at minimum but depending on the job it can require more.
nice truck
Thanks I recently sold it and regret every minute of it 😭
This is good for a beater washing machine.
These were definitely beaters, my old ones I was giving away!
Thank you for this video. I have struggled with stretch wrap. Your technique makes is easy.
I just wanted an adapter, but this is so simple thank you!!
Do I need to use pads or can I just use the plastic wrap?? I’m moving everything myself so I feel confident I won’t carelessly get it dirty.. but I’ll be an easy sell on what’s best recommended
With it being white, shouldn't you shrink wrap then pad and shrink again so the pad don't bleed onto the white couch
Have you experienced pads bleeding onto light furniture?
No never, but depending how well kept your pads are I can see the concern of getting dirt in furniture. However this has never been a concern
Thank you for making this video!
he is fit and strong
What happened if for some reason you put the red one on the black spot??
Thank you very much
No boxes?
You can always keep a few boxes in your truck for those just in case moments, but typically don’t take any unless we are specifically packing and moving on a job.
I have a question.my dryer is a 3 prong plug and my landlord bought a 4 prong plug to attach my 3 prong wires to the 4 prong plug. On my dryer is a green already connected but is it safe for him to attach the 3 wires to the 4 prong plug. Im not sure if im understood but im spooked because i dont want a fire. He actually spliced the wires and attached to the 4 prong plug. I wish i could post a picture. The top prong is green. But my cord has not color. Im kind of freaking is this safe
Any updates on your situation/what you ended up doing?
Thank you ! 2 years later and this is 100% helpful!!! Thank you!!!
Why does it be to be grounded twice
Love it man great work
Appreciate it! Keep crushing it out there.
I went from A GE profile to whirlpool cabrio platinum. However the 4 prong green cord does not reach the green screw on back . I have 2 whites in middle , black and red on side. But the green doesn’t reach . Can we move the green screw closer ? Or should I get a whirlpool cord that has circle hooks???
Is whirlpool cord green wire prong longer ? I saw one on Amazon . That cord has circles at end . Ours has fork like. Can we move the the green screw to a hole to another location on back of machine to get it closer ??
What about a 3 prong plug with the regular plugs 3 prong plugs that’s now installed in the newer homes like front load?
Sounds like you're talking about a front load washer? If that's the case, it is a 120V not 240V (which is what an electric dryer is.) In your case with a normal three prong plug, the thinner blade is the hot wire, wider 'spatula' blade is neutral, and third cylinder blade is ground. Your home may have the older outlets with no space for the ground blade. You could either go to trouble and expense of adding a ground wire from panel to outlet or simply use a 3 prong to 2 prong 120V adapter. It's not ideal but perfectly fine.
@@CM-yw3eg Thank you
