What! I bought my 2021 NEW for $25k. Why is your used one so expensive

I owned a 2019 CPO Macan S for almost 3 years. I sold it at the end of COVID for $3K more than I paid for it free driving it 30,000 miles. I took it to the dealer for service 3 time (ever 10,000 miles). While Porsche dealer service is expensive it I have to say it was well done. The only issue I had was a bad thermostat which was $2,200 repair covered 100% by the warranty and they gave me new Taycan as a loaner 😊

Just bought a 2022 X for $57k. Leaps and bounds better than the 2024 model Y. Beefier CPU, better screen position, more room, variable air ride suspension, and the overall build quality is superior.

Once I get my Plaid, I’m definitely getting the yoke removed. Probably the second dumbest thing Tesla has done, with the first being putting the blinkers on the steering wheel as buttons.

In my opinion, the i8 is a failed star. It really does not have a soul. It looks beautiful, but it does not have any bark to its bite. I think they should have a frunk, more carbon fiber and a v10, it would be awsome. Also get rid of those useless backseats.

While there are other more exotic used car in this price range, V8 front engine normally aspirated RWD is appealing. While this is not the fastest or has the grip, Lexus builds very reliable vehicles.

I think im gonna go for it. it's only a matter of time until we can supercharge it. then its unknown territory for a supremely quality machine.

Did you get the transfer case and timing chain cover done? The latter alone is reason to get CPO. I've heard some dealerships charge upwards of $10,000 for that engine out job alone. My service advisor caught this small leak while I had it in for service and it was done under warranty. This is why I was glad I took it to the dealership instead of my usual indie. I will take it to the dealership every 4 years or so just to have a mechanic who is familiar with the issues common to this specific car inspect it. Transfer case issue is so prevalent Porsche extended the warranty to 10 years on all cars for this. Porsches are wonderful cars that are generally quite reliable relative to other German brands, but when they need attention there is definitely a strong luxury tax.

I have a JTR with a manual and I daily it. Huge amounts of fun and wouldn’t trade it for anything. But these vehicles are not for everyone.
