Your designs are amazing.
Would have loved to see it in action
This is really cool

Can I take my apart and put it back together without hurting the gears?
@@boogermeats sure!
Awesome but i probably shouldnt have put a brim on mine, the print was still stuck to the plate overnight 😅
can you make a more understandable video please? I can't really understand you.
I feel like it mightve been done better somewhere all smooth
Alguém tem esse arquivo?
Very creative and interesting
Nice
How much did it cost to print?
@@lloydburns3736 5$ something like that
How much did it cost to print
What the stl for this
What filament did you use?
That's pretty cool. You should sell these already made, and maybe already assembled. I'd like to have one but don't want to buy a 3D printer.
I'm only familiar with Thingiverse...but this is on Thangs....do I need to pay to download this??
might be a little late but the gear ball on thingiverse is literally this print. The owner released it with a regular cc license that allowed redistribution. He changed the license after the first day he released it but anyone who downloaded it under the original license can still distribute the files.
Wow that's cool how they all print like that!
Thank you! Printing it now ❤
I printed your other version off with the square ends
@@wayneryan1 Great 😃 you could exchange them now if you want.
@@Ri0m0 I can't my sub ran out I need to resub
@@Ri0m0 I just re subbed, but I already have the other model if I re download it just for the new ends will that take a download credit from me ?
@@wayneryan1 No need, its in you "purchased" files you can just redownload it there
@@Ri0m0 I pressed download from purchased and it took a credit off me
the audio is terrible .. can you fix?
love the design, well done - I would purchase it if you sold it outside your Thangs subscription model.
Is there a way to purchase just this model on Thangs without having to become a member? I'm really not interested in your other models, and I would like to support your work, considering it's being stolen, but I really do not want to pay $96 for an annual membership for just one model.
you’re just gonna have to pay
It can be found on other sites as well.

Damn it I can barely afford filament, looks like no magical twisty ball for me. Really cool design tho, you must have some serious cad skills
Thanks for posting the link, my kids gonna love it! I just got a few different multicolor filaments too.
Make an infinity cube that can make infinite cubes
Great creation. Printed fine, as you said I had to fine tune the connectors slightly. Printed the Strong Connector version in PETG and adjusted the size a fraction. percentages 103 x 98 x 103. Went togther and its as smooth as. Thanks Ruven. Kids will love it. Now to decide which project next. 😀
Also no front oder do aber dieser deutsche Akzent fuckt mich ab
I dont understand how to download i have to pay $10 /month? Thats annoying.
I’d love to know the inspiration behind this - and how you figured out the mechanics??
Hey, the first one who made something like this is Emmet on thingiverse. I then Build on that idea.
👍 nice
nice
very nice, everything worked on 1st print. Thanks!
I bought 2 of them. One had black pins, and 1 of them broke. The other one had white pins, and one of them broke. Now, what do I do? Why don't they send extra pins. 😢
Hmm, that suckes. Contact them hopefully they send you some more.
hey love it. how long does it take and how much filament does it use. i want to see if i have enough
My completed ball weights 104g. I'm not sure how much I lost to the rims/skirts though.
love your designs. A shame your assembly video is mostly out of focus and too often off screen to the right .. can you re-do the video?
mine doesn't have the numbers on any of the parts...
@@coondogg729 Probably a case of bad printer. It has in the slicer. You can orient yourself on those.
Dude, this is so well done. Both the model and the video are just casual excellence. This is the only model I've ever purchased, besides the McGybeer dragon, and it is SO worth it. I'm excited to see what you create next.
@@booshong Ty! :D
Hey Ruven, I really appreciate the effort put into this and your other designs. I've had a lot of problems (and have noticed others mentioning having problems as well) with the connectors breaking in this and the other gear ball. In a gear cube print that I had found online by someone else they used connectors with hollow centers (they connected on the outer edges, making a closed loop). This worked very well and I have put together about 5 of these for my nieces, pulling them apart and putting them back together with different colors over and over, without having any of the connectors break. It might be worth looking into alternative connector designs like the one I mentioned. Thanks again! Edit: It's worth mentioning that the connectors perform much better when printed in PETG, but I still think that alternative connector designs would be a good idea.
@@Dragonofshame Hey, can you link me that design?
@@Ri0m0 Yeah, I'm on vacation visiting family right now but I will in a few days
Can you 😢send to me as well? I’m having problems with connectors. ❤
The filament looks awesome on this one 🎉 nice model!
@@danphamx xD i reprinted it 3 times because rainbow filament is a gamble.
I don't have money to buy subscription please share stl link to download it. Thanks!
