Archimedes 2 stroke
I got this about 100 year old stationary Archimedes engine from a friend. This is just a small video i made from the photos and clips i recorded while getting it running. Enjoy

How i machined my Stuart models Victoria
Просмотров 6 тыс.2 года назад
Here’s a collage of pictures and clips of how i machined my Stuart models Victoria steam engine. It is the first engine i ever built and it is also the first video i have ever edited, so there are lots of things i would have done differently if i ever were to do it again, but this will have to do for now. 😅

Just found your channel and subscribed. Very nice work. I hope to start building steam engines soon myself.

Thanks for the video. Great job for your first engine! Rather than seeing how fast it will run, see how S---L---O---W you can get it to run. That's the real challenge. These big-wheeled, long-stroke, Victorian engines look more elegant running at slow-to-moderate speed.

That piston is hitting the head. Plus the fly wheel not balanced. It shakes the table gives that away

Finally i see a video of somebody who knows how to keepthis kind of fish, and gets rewarded with fry to! Nicely done, and hey, you want to get stuck with thousands of fry anyway, you could deliver the halve world with Cichla's, haha. Are you sure is it not Cichla piquiti or temensis by the way?

What about the lighting? I'm shopping around for T-5's but I really like how yours looks. And how deep is your sand bed? I like how your setup has the completed nitrogen cycle. It must really cut back on maintenance. Thanks again

Beautiful setup, i hope this isnt a stupid question but, with a tank that big how do you manage things like temperature and nitrates? I cant believe there are weekly water changes. And i assume your running metal halide lights, how many, what wattage and color temp. Your electric bill must be huge! Thanks in advance, Im just a fellow aquarist learning where I can.

Great video....5 stars...the "temensis" is the species that grow to these epic proportions. The borboleta (ocellaris) or "butterfly" peacock like you have in the tank only grows to around 5 or 6 kilos.
