I think that’s been the greatest strength of the remake so far. Yuffie is more fun, Barret’s more interesting, cait sith. Basically all the characters I wasn’t that into in the og I’m much more into now. I feel like the clerith is lacking though. Probably because of their intentions with her and Zack…

Given how much different Cid was portrayed in Rebirth than his original counterpart I'm sure we'll get plenty of time for Cid's character in part 3

​@@farmingsim9813Someone from another FF7 Rebirth video mentioned that Cid is just being friendly because he's trying to give them quality customer service so as not to drive them away. He cursed a little bit, but it wasn't as much as could've. We'll probably hear him be more vulgar in part 3.

I got used hitting the switches but when it came to that machine you were supposed to time to throw a box in that was "Are you f****ng kidding me". And then we went to the elevator bonus stage and I got only 1 out of 10 haha

His slow movement when riding definitely bothered me

@@Postumeartist he has invincible frames if you move at the right time therefore negating bad movement. He’ll do a twirl like a ballerina

Yes. He always has. In the original game, there are many lines he says that Reeve would never say, their personalities being very different. For example, in Mideel, he says "If Tifa was my nurse, I'd trade places with Cloud any day." There is no way Reeve would say this in Cloud and Tifa's circumstances. In the latter part of Rebirth (without spoiling too much) Cait Sith himself states that their are plenty of HIS bodies around, as we frequently see. Taking his words in their context, he is an AI personality that can share linked memories, will etc. across his "bodies." In other words, the Cait Siths are Cait Sith. Yet at the same time, each one is unique. This is emphasized in the original game: in his last scene prior to this moment, he says, "Don't forget me, even if another Cait Sith comes along." In short, Reeve can communicate THROUGH Cait Sith, but Cait Sith is his own independent being with his own unique personality and will. Reeve designed him with some of his own traits, but this can be likened to a parent passing on certain traits to a child. This all being said, there's still much mystery around Cait's character - like HOW unique each "Cait Sith" is and how much they are the same "personality" called Cait Sith.

I always viewed it as his way of escapism by playing as a much more carefree version of himself. He has a pretty stressful job in real life (I can totally relate)

@@davidecarminati8730 SPOILER WARNING ‼️ When he saves everyone at the temple of the ancients right when you leave the black materia room, it’s a sped up action orchestral epic version I can’t seem to find anywhere else. There’s also his unique music when you’re only playing as him as well that is different than OG slightly and it’s not anywhere other than play through videos I cant find.

I can't believe people hate that segment or think it's hard, I had a blast with that part of the game. Absolutely love Cait Sith in this.

@@maplemaple2273 I didn't hate it nor think it was hard but people probably just didn't like the aiming of the box.

@@Kagetora- To be fair, the aiming backwards to throw forwards part of it was kinda weird, and definitely made it a little annoying to aim with. If aiming worked normally, it probably would've been better received.

I was just smiling over how adorable and kinda goofy it was to control Cait Sith and the moogle in that area. It was so cute and I loved it😊
