i haven't seen the speedlight physically but what i believ is that have you dropped it somewhere or do you feel anything rattling inside? if so you have likely broken the tube if not then most probably the tube has been burnt either due to high power usage or continuous use without pause to cool down the tube. the easiest fix is to get it repaired. i had the same issue with my shanny 600n flash. i had dropped it and the tube was broken. i had purchased the speedlight for 8K PKR and hot it fixed for i guess around 3K PKR so its like 40% amount for the origin price. Find a local shop who specialises in repairing those and get it fixed.

most probably it will be tt600n , designed for nikon. it wont work properly if that is the case.

i never felt a need to factory reset my flash. Can you tell me why do you want to reset it?

i dont think there is option to reset it. what is your issue?

i dont know much about it but i think one reason is its Availablity cause i have never heard of this Flash before, its not available here. Although its a reasonable flash and value for money (not used it) but Stats are reasonable. Another reason would be its price cause if its not being sold even having good features then it will likely to be expensive compared with TT600, i dont know the prices of both in your country so do the research for both Availablity and price and you will have a good idea why no one talks about it. hope it helps.

@@umar_withra i had asked someone regarding the Godox TT685n for Nikon D3400 because i was interested with it to learn and use a speed light as i previously use was the built in flash and i was told that it wouldn't work because of the TTL flashing only and he recommended the Godox TT600n as it would work for my camera model as it was for manual and automatic flashing but it became more complicated as it added more unanswered questions for me

@@ezrajaycexaviery2533 both will work on your D3400 TT685n will have Auto Metering system as well as Manual Mode. Whereas TT600n only has manual mode. If you want to learn how the flash i suggest you go for manual , it will be difficult in the begging but you will get through else TT685n will work on your device dont worry. Your call!

Just cheked, they updated today the specification to 200mm. I give up :)) Now I cant' compare GN36 of my TT350 expressed at 105mm with 685 expresset at 200mm...

depend on alot of factors battery mah, working temmperature,power you are using,manual or ittl model, batteries age etc. i usually got about 350-400 shots while using 2500 mah batteries using them about 1/8 to 1/4 power. no idea about full power. i guess they will be around 100-150 at max still its just my guess.

yes it can be used in HSS mode while using it OFF camera. I have TT600 and i do use it if required but keep in mind if Flash is in HSS mode its Power will be exponentially reduced to you might have to use the setup in Low Ambient light or use 2 speedlights together.

thankyou so much for your detailed comment. i dont remember what details i ve provided regarding i.e weight and GN as its an old video and i cant remember it as of now. yes there is always room for improvement i will try to keep that in mind(if i made more videos). thanks 👍
