Ground Grooves was founded in 2014 by Gracie Whyte and Laura Berg as a bi-weekly open floorwork class in Los Angeles for professional dancers. Since then, it has grown into an online studio and broadened in-person offerings such as international touring workshops and 3 weekly classes in Los Angeles for movers of all levels. The Ground Grooves approach is longevity-oriented, focused on building mindful, safe patterns to absorb impact with ease.

I think that music is adapted from the Dying Swan (Camille Saint-Saëns's Le Cygne from Le Carnaval des animaux), which isn't part of the ballet Swan Lake, composed by Tchaikovsky. Nice movement, though.

It's against unspoken rules to use a move that doesn't belong to you. It's good manners to give credit to the genre of dance and artist you learned it from.
This move has existed for as long as there has been dance in various forms. Who do you think invented it????
@@JasonWeis-gw6zd U know dam well where they got the move from. If u borrow moves from certain genres of dance & specifically from a youtube vid u saw, its good to give credit. Better not do that in los angeles or NY. People know where that move is from. Cringe.

@@kendalgee5808 Unfortunately, I do not. And you need to realise that this move has existed since the 60's! Sure, there are variations and slight differences, but you would struggle to patent this because you would not be able to prove ownership. I am only replying to you this one time (yes, I know feeding trolls is silly) because I am hoping that young dancers out there are not intimated by this type of vitriol and feel free to express themselves however they want. As for yourself, good luck on your journey.
