Bullet in Lumber

What have you found in your lumber recently? I found a .22 bullet inside my walnut lumber. This explains the discoloration running along one of the boards! #woodworking
How (not) to video your sanding or woodworking action.
Просмотров 910 месяцев назад
Ever place your camera right on your workpiece? Here I demonstrate just how little I can multi-task, being so focused on sanding my workbench frame...until my camera fell right off the table! Hope you get a laugh out of this, as I did! Thanks for watching. #woodworking #protips #video
Half Laps and Peg Workbench Frame
Просмотров 2,3 тыс.10 месяцев назад
#workbench #oldschool I chose to assemble the workbench frame using half lap joints and home-made dowel pegs with glue. This is a very sturdy construction that has a bit of an 'old school' look, and combined with the walnut and ash sandwich construction it should provide an interesting contrasting look when finished, as it remains visible without the need for metal hardware fasteners. This is i...

Snow Plow Blade Hack - on Concrete Driveway??
Просмотров 19 тыс.Год назад
Try this snow plow blade hack that others are using for gravel driveways. With a concrete driveway this also avoids scraping and chipping uneven portions of your concrete, it avoids sod tear-out near the edges and where you push snow off to the side. Believe it or not, this keeps your driveway as clean as scraping with the metal blade scraper! @GettingItDoneRepairs www.youtube.com/@GettingItDon...

How I built a router table dust collector
Просмотров 281Год назад
Home made router table for trim, shadow boxes, picture frames, etc. Dust collection port attached Fence and coping sled included
Worked amazing…for two passes. Was worth it but I’m back to the drawing board. Used 1 1/2” ABS…dirt/gravel driveway. abs shattered.
I have found that if you make a 1” v at the end of the slot it’s much easier to get started on the blade. Pipe works great on my gravel driveway. 👍
What diameter pipe did you use?
What size pipe did u use? I’m gonna do this. I have a cement driveway but constantly pushing it over my lawn. Thank u.
I had the same issue until, I replaced the metal cutter edge with a plastic cutter edge made for plows. Dozens of plastic edges available on the net. Worked like a charm.
Might sound like a silly question but most RUclipsrs i find that review this combo unit never test the mechine with long boards so serious question is this able to join 2 meter long wood??
Did you take the white film off the planner base before use?
Yes
Ok. Did you have to adjust any blades before use, or did you use it right out the box? I just got the same kind of machine.
merica'
That’s pretty cool ngl 😎
Excavator cheaper than ATV
Nice video. The volume of the music near the end was a touch high, but great job nonetheless. Thanks for making this. Do you find the bed length to be any issue?
Not for what I’ve done so far - walnut boards roughly 6 feet length 3/4” x 4”
👏👏👏👏👏
Idk… my purpose with my plows is to get down to the concrete, iv used many blowers but they just don’t get down to the nit and gritty, going into the video I thought “no way this is going to do a good job” Seeing it now you totally corrected me, this is really great and think it’s a great solution for many driveways Great job 🤜🤛
Plus you deserve more subscribers
Thank you! Trying it for the first time, wasn’t sure myself but pleasantly surprised how clean it scraped it!
@@ldkwoodshop473 it’s funny, I had a customer complain about tare up of her yard, now I’m gonna give the crew a Pce of pcs when they do the property 😂 Cheers my friend you eared my sub
I have done decorative stamped concrete sidewalks also with this…what a back-saver!!
Tricks are cool hacks are trash. Know your slang definitions.
If you use a two inch pipe it will slide over the bolts.
I might try that, I think it could ride smoother over the 1” steps of uneven concrete! Thanks for commenting.
Yeah but with the pipe over the bolts, the bolts would hold the pipe in place. It appears that the way you installed yours, it's easier that the pipe to slide off the plow. @@ldkwoodshop473
What happens when you have wet snow then freeze then can't get the ice off
Sorry, haven’t encountered that yet, usually push it before the freeze. I’ll upload a video next time we have some slushy snow that freezes as you’ve described.
It's called a cutting edge not a fucking 'scraper'. Come on man.
Womp womp
for a light weight plow like yours .....it's perfect...it would have to be steel for a plow on a truck
@hooker4749 thanks for the note. Yes, I’ve seen some really cool attachments for truck plows, both commercially available and DIY. Have you seen commercially available for ATV plows? Thanks for watching & commenting.
Hey buddy, great job! I didnt even think about concrete driveways or interlocking brick. These steel blades and skid shoes could seriously damage thos types. Have a great day and thanks for the shout out 😊
Yessir- can even go across stamped concrete walkway without damage! Love your videos, keep 'em coming.
good idea
Many many thanks, avoids scratching concrete Everytime I accidentally go half off the edges 😎
anotha one
spectacular
Another banger!! Looks similar to one I have 🧐
Looks great!
