      Maybe try using blender 4.2 if you haven't already. Also see comment by @jaymzmiller01 below. It might help.

    If it's not working at all but gives you 'exported successfully' in bridge: Try deleting the old plug-in from quixel. You should find a folder called MSPlugin with a .py script inside. (C:\Users\**name**\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\4.2\scripts and/ or C:\Users\**name**\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\4.2\startup) Once you get rid of this, just restart and don't forget to hit import> Megeascans: Import Alembic Files If it's working but no textures: I found with textures set to .exr it doesn't import with them. Switching the bridge export to .jpg or .png fixed that issue. Thank you for this plug-in CG Material - super cool of you to put it out there!

    tried this on both 4.1 and 4.2 multiple times and doesnt work. same result. imports mesh but no textures at all. i see the material in the list for it but no textures attached

      try go to "Edit > Preference > Interface > Language" and uncheck the "New Data" if your interface language not english, and restart blender

    thanks it works for me with blender 4.1, just restart blender,and if you had exported texture from bridge, may be you should assign the textrue manually,it is on the material list

      If the texture not automatically applied, try go to "Edit > Preference > Interface > Language" and uncheck the "New Data", this step will disable the translation of the workspace tabs (“Layout” “Modeling” “Engraving” etc.) in the header. Some addons have unknown bug in non-English Languages, and the bridge plugin might be one of them. BTW I'm not a native English speaker, please ignore the bad grammar if it doesn't make sense.🥵

      Change export target to blender and click install plugin in the export settings.

      @@cgmaterial Thank you. After rebooting computer, option "install plugin" appeared again in the bridge. Now model exported but with an empty material, only with a normal map. I did everything according to the pinned comment.

    This method won't work anymore as all epic content are merged into fab.com now. Visit the site and login with epic to claim megascans. Only way to use them seems to be manual download of each asset for now. For those who are having problem below are the steps to follow: 1. Download blender 4 or above. 2. Download quixel bridge. 3. Download blender addon from github. 4. Install the blender addon. 5. Open quixel bridge and in export settings, just click download plugin. 6. Close both blender and quixel bridge (Very Important) 7. Open blender first and go to: file > import > Megascans: Import alembic files. 8. Open quixel bridge and download and export any asset. 9. Asset will appear in blender. Note: Next time when you open blender, you need to click import again. Always open blender first then quixel bridge. Double check the download and export settings for asset and make sure albedo, roughness, normal and any other required texture types are selected.

      I have a problem, the Displacement does not get added in the shader for the texture surface, although it fixed the problem of texture not getting added

      @@equiaux Yeah. it adds the texture node but does not connects it to displacement. You have to manually add a displacement node and connect height output to it.

      You should do what it says. Create a folder in your computer and copy, paste that path to an asset library path in file paths tab.

    Good start. the character and compositing looks good. The other assets need more detail. Car is too low poly. The ground stands out. Needs more depth, variation, and interest. Maybe add a surface water puddles. The foliage looks wrong for this setting.

      It's bit complicated than just appending nodes. You have to tinker with the nodes.

    i appreciate the video, but it could've been a 3-4 min vid, a lot of this was redundant view angle adjusting and ever so slightly adjusting a nodes position in the graph.. idk, just feel this could've been a bit more streamlined, either way, well done

    Bought from Gumroad, thank you for sharing. This is exactly what I needed. The cover shader is brilliant, but I wanted to use some custom images for the scene I am making. Discovered an issue where the "pages" were the same height as the book, so they were flickering when I took off your cover shader. For anyone looking to resolve this, I added a math - subtract node to the transform geometry that handles the inner page block. If you aren't sure, follow the bottom noodle backwards from the join geometry node. Just before that is a combine XYZ. Add the subtraction on the noodle going into Z. Connect he noodle from the group input "cover" to the second input. YOu could also divide this value in half to prevent the bevel from showing up on the top/bottom of the pages, but for what I'm doing I actually took the bevel off since there are going to be tons of books and it isn't really as noticeable. Thanks again!

      It is under Geometry > Read > Position now. You can search in add pop up to quickly find any node.

      Happened to me the same. Got it fixed by re entering the driver, delete the numbers next to "var", leaving no space after the "var" characters. I'm not a programmer, but the very few i learned of programming, i was thaught not to leave any space between characters, otherwise the code won't work.
