John Deere Leaf Collection System with 2025r (Fall 2020)
2020 Fall leaf pick up with John Deere 2025r with leaf collection system 20 Bu. Capacity. I have had this for three fall seasons and have not found anything wrong about this system. Absolutely love this and so do my neighbors. I know this collection system is one of the highest priced units but it gets a ton of work done and seems to be built for the long haul. I'll try to get a detailed video of this unit next time.

Food plot prep with John Deere 2025r & 4066r tractors

Helping my Dad prep his 2 acre food plot. This plot of land was full of hardwood trees, logged and now time to remove the rest of the roots, stumps and rocks to prep for clover and oats. We had to fill in about half a dozen holes and dips with our box blades. The landscape rake worked really well and clearing the roots and rocks for a smoother surface. Both tractors are 2018 and the 4066r has l...

Using Dad's tractor to pull out ATV's stuck in the spring snow. More videos to come, have to wait for it to dry out in the fields/woods. We will show you our progress on my Dad's food plot and trail maintenance after logging this past winter. Fishing is also a passion of mine and we will have videos to come as soon and ice is out. Thanks for watching!! Sorry for not uploading a lot of videos, o...
Moving more snow with the JD 2025r...will this winter ever end in Wisconsin?
Просмотров 37 тыс.5 лет назад
Another snow fall in Wisconsin, about 5" of wet snow. Glad to have a tractor to be able to move and stack all of this snow. I am running out of places to put it all. Update: Frontier 60" snow pusher is working great.
Sub Compact John Deere tractor plowing record snowfall in Wisconsin

John Deere 2025r plowing 12" of snow on a very cold and windy day. We had freezing rain before it switched over to snow, there is a slick layer of ice which made it hard to get any traction to push large amounts of snow. I'm using a 60" Frontier snow pusher and a BB5060L rear box blade to help move snow around. The tractor has plenty of power, traction is lacking due to the ice underneath. If y...

John Deere 2018 2025r plowing snow off my driveway with a Frontier 60" snow pusher.
What are you using to record this?
Link to the beacon light on roll cage?
Matt - how did you install the plow markers?
So probably a dumb question, but do you feel like the turning radius vs 1025r was a big compromise? Or not that noticeable. I really like the 2025r for a number of reasons, but trying to decide if I can mow around all my trees yet. Trying to get down to one piece of equipment and not have a separate mower.
Does anyone know who makes these. The manufacturer and model number. I'm trying to it. A lot of things is subcontracted out to another manufacturer handmade for John Deere.
This looks like incredible joy to work with. But is it not possible to do the same with a jaw bucket in order to save on attachments?
It seemed to me that next yard neighbour use subcompact Lamborgini ? 🙃
Great! 👌
I believe you are mowing in reverse, did you have to bypass the safety?
What size is your snow pusher??? 60/66/72?
Can you link the yellow guides at the end of each wing?
It's important to note that when you buy a new 1025R, the mower deck does not have the same warranty. It only has a one year warranty and at 18 months, rivets began to pop and it was a $500 fix. John Deere does not stand behind manufacturers defects and you're on your own after one mowing season. I'd never buy another.
bad mowing style
Trying to imagine why someone with such a small property would invest in such an expensive unit. Major overkill, but maybe I am missing something. I have a 1025R myself (same drivetrain as a 2025) so, I am scratching my head on this one..... did you look into a big box store JD with a snow plow? You could have saved yourself $20,000 bucks. Maybe you are plowing multiple neighbors drives in the winter for $. ????
Curious… I bought a 2025R this year with a 54” PTO snowblower. That might have been overkill. Would a snow pusher move more snow than a bucket?
I got the chills 🥶 just watching 😮
Hello Matt I just purchased a new 2025r tractor and I like it a lot
Do you have a link for those front weights. Also is there room for 5 of them?
You could do five weights but the weight would touch the plastic latch on the tool box so I leave that spot empty. If you needed the extra weight I suppose you could undo the latch and put and extra weight on.
Looking to buy the frontier box blade here soon for my 4052r. Also had to unplug my backup alarm haha it drove me crazy! Great video!
I like the rear light
Matt, noob to 2025r owner question; when mowing are you at full throttle? Also, are you supposed to engage the mower before increasing it and then decrease it all the way before disengaging it?
Since u didn’t get an answer I hope I can help with “My” Suggestion. If it’s a lite duty implementation start PTO engagement at low rpm. What low mean to you and what I think might be different. I start at idle or 1800 rpm even on my heavier equipment like rotary cutter, finish mower, flail mower. In my mind starting at a really high rpm introduces a lot of unneeded shock load on your tractor/ PTO. Once again that is just my suggestion since u didn’t have an answer to your question
How do you know when it’s full?
You were moving your tractor to fast for me to see but are you using your suitcase weights with a special bracket or in the space that’s up front for the belly mower?
It’s part of the frame. It’s a built in weight holder.
Really odd mowing pattern?
I’ll never understand people with yard this size using tractors to mow their yard. A nice riding mower is cheaper than the belly mower attachment, by a LOT. Even if you need the tractor for other things, it still makes more sense to buy a separate riding mower.
Maybe some people just like their compacts for a lawn mower
We’ve moved to the country and I knew that before buying it…so I planned ahead. Thanks
I have same..2025 and 60" frontier pusher. Only complaint is I cant steer it..just bought front chains..hopefully that helps..leave the excavator on the rear for wreight and the radial hybred tires work great..trying to get the skid plates right so it doesnt leave any snow.
Can you use the snow pusher on a gravel driveway?
What front weight bracket are you using?
I worked out in the snow yesterday for 7 hours and got my first hypothermia. Not recommended! I like the way you just use the up and down controls and adjust the bucket once. Smart!!
I am looking to purchase a 2025R was my 4 acres we mow at home. Isn’t that tractor overkill with the size of your lawn? Seems like a smaller tractor would be easier to get closer to things
This is exactly what I was thinking. If you have to constantly back up on a tractor like this you know it is too big. My property is less than an acre but we do not have as many obstacles. I still think it will be too big though. Another reason I want it is for the 4x4 on steep hills.
What kind of tires you got on that 2025r?
why is his tractor worth more than his house? asking for a friend
Not my house…
I’m jealous of your toys
Nice set up
Nice vid. How much weight are you using on your front suit case weight bracket?
Do you use a push mower to get the spots you can’t get?
Yeah
I can not find that model on JD web site. Can you give model number or link please ? I have a 1025R. Great demo.
I can’t remember exactly what model number it is but ask your dealer and they would know. My dealer set this up for me.
It’s a tvk20
Nice setup!
Thanks!!!
why are you mowing towards the trees and your house? turn the tractor around so your shoot is facing away. for one you can get closer and two you are not throwing clippings in your mulch etc..
Because I don’t care....and I was getting new mulch to cover up the old stuff.
Sweet! We have the TVK20 (PTO) version of this MCS on our 2025r. Still have the old 455 with hydraulic Dump. These units are the cats tail! Can’t be beat for leaf cleanup!
What is the price for the TVK20?
@@brianjennings3172 paid 3300.00 3 years ago .. I think they are like 4500.00 now
Matt when you increase your engine speed your blades spin the same speed or faster
The blades do spin faster when I increase throttle. At full throttle, the blades are spinning at 2200 rpm.
Looks nice but you scrape alot of the top soil off
Is this tractor 4 wheel drive?
Yup
I would like to get a 2025r if they had 3 range hst and is the loader and 3ppoint hitch weren't so weak. I need a good mower mainly. But have 36 acres and a 120yrd grave drive way and a 75'x30' garden.
I run a 2008 JD 2320 which is appr the same size of tractor have a 60" loader bucket on the front and a 60" blade on the rear. I use it to plow townhouse complexes I'm liking that snow pusher. What is the width?
Thanks for watching. It’s a 60” pusher. I now also have a 60” rear blade and the combo really helps speed up operations. Some days I wish I had a 72” rear blade and pusher....
I understand the 72" blade I've thought the same thing why I haven't bought one is due to the roads I plow are not perfectly level a wider blade leaves to much snow in the dips. I have an 88" blade on my F250 4x4 I do a fast pass with it then go back in with my tractor.
Awesome job
My god. The north has horrible weather. Who would want to live there? It’s bad enough down south
How do you mow under all those trees with that roll bar in place? Do you flip it down ?
Yeah, I fold the ROPS bar down all the way and had to trim a few branches.
For no more than whatchya are doin, ya really dont need to have the engine at such a high RPM throttle!
I only do it because low gear moves so slow...and high gear has no power for pushing gravel. I wish it had a mid range. Plus these little engines have to run high if you want both hst drive power with hydraulic operations. Thanks for watching.
@@Matt-zn4zp Thankya for sharing
Well, that was rather abrupt.
