Got dam! A bit of passion!!!!
perfect as usual!
Work of art👍
Promo-SM 🤦
Nice job.
How much does something like this cost?
Gorgeous!Old school soldering.False wall, etc.brilliant.Be proud.Baking soda mix to clean/ neutralise flux and subsequent patina to keep it looking great yrs.fr.now would be good too. Some Pro_press joint jobs look alright too.Cut down on labour time.
Amazing passion sr.
Question? Why you didn’t use the feeder hydrologic inlet in the tank 1/2”
Congratulations clean job.. if the owner is very visual they will be very happy.
Going crazy with oversized zone pumps, not necessary for overly expensive and maintenance required systems. Wiping customers like there’s no end. I work on sky scrapers in NYC and a single pump does over 20 stories and over 1000 zones control valves. Poor customers don’t know any better, this is the problem when end users needs a heating system and they rely on a local plumbing company. Thumbs down 👎
Where is the GRADGE ??
Artwork!
That's 80 to 100 k job.nice job , the owner deserves that beautiful job .That's why he paid for. Congratulations.
Any kind of quick stop or sharp turn seems like it would make a big mess.
All in the wrist !
I forgot to mention in my previous post another nice option when installing the valves is to stagger them two or 3 inches in other words your gas valve is two or 3 inches below your hot water valve then your cold water valve is two or 3 inches away from your Valve. That way you do not have issues with Val Handel hitting each other.
A really great effort however, your secondary ball valves to the left of the water heater are installed incorrectly. When you go to turn your ball valve handles you’re going to hit the other valve which is why I highly recommend turning them approximately 90°, ensuring that the handles pull towards you in the opposition not only will this prevent the handles from hitting each other. It also makes it plainly obvious to the homeowner if the valve is in the opposition as it looks very much out of place. Other than that a nice need installation the electrical outlet that you plugged into is perfectly fine however, I probably would’ve used a 4 inch handy box with a metal cover with a single outlet only to prevent the homeowner from plugging in additional items that may trip to breaker such as electric heaters, etc. , not a requirement but prevents future issues
that's amazing work. well done.
Gate valves, ball valves, o my
i cant wait to have a job like this someday with my future business. this is beautiful work love the creativity its like art. and that's why hydronics is the best!
Don't forget, all plumbing can be- and should be- a work of art. I always take before and after pictures, even if it's only a replumb under a sink.
@@christopherwilson2606 fair enough
A work of art, again!
Wow - plumbing approaching an art form. It’s like looking at a custom motorcycle. Both attractive and functional. I know that some custom motorcycles can cost in excess of $50k, and can imagine that this system might be about the same.
Size pump boiler?
Absolute perfection! ❤
Great job !!
Your installation is just amazing. Wish I could find someone this methodical in WI to install.
Ya it’s weird I get asked to come and install all over North America ….but there has to be one contractor in your area that’s has that eye for detail
I was told these combi systems only last 10-15 years while a boiler can last 30-40+ years. Is this true? My current boiler is 30 years old but needs to be fixed and thought about going with a combi but holding back due the concerns of longevity.
In our province high efficient is the only way to go now …and combi or straight boiler have pros and cons …depends on application and install! You can have a great product but installed poorly then you will not have a winning combination
What's the reason to install that zone control. Can you would run the circulator pump with a relay box. Just question?
Yes you could but the controller cleans everything up
Incredible work!! I just spent 3 hours watching your installs, and every one is unique in their own way! I have a few questions. 1. Is there a method to the system design, or just what you feel like doing/what the budget allows? For instance, this setup could've been a primary secondary vs. tertiary. Why opt to go one way or the other? One of my favorites was the zone valve setup with the primary and backup pump. This video is my favorite because of its uniqueness. 2. Also, I noticed you mainly use NFC over the NCB, and it seems like it primarily comes down to the pricing, as you seem to prefer the NFC over the NCB. If you didn't have cost in mind, would you choose an NCB 250/150H or an NFC 250/175H and why? 3. Why do you choose the hydraulic seperator setup vs. the premade manifold form Navien? I like the valve setup/drainage setup for maintenance when you use the hydraulic seperator setup. I could see more benefits with stable pressure, air separation, etc. 4. It seems you do not utilize the autofill valve inside the Navien units, is there a reason you prefer utilizing your own feed valve? Thank you! Can't wait to see more jobs!
Thank you, and regarding questions 1) I strive for uniqueness in every project and sometimes This means adding things to the budget at my expense. 2)nfc is superior in my opinion being a fire tube boiler and not a water tube NCB boiler which has its Drawbacks 3) hydronic separators look better and give a better aesthetic and functionality ….i like symmetry hence the custom flushing ports 4) the autofill valve gives me more control on filling or flushing the system when the boiler is off, and I trust manual control can the soleniod valve
Been watching all you videos getting ready to replace my old cast iron unit. Your videos are awesome and your systems look amazing. Wondering why you put the pumps on the return side for this one?
Mostly athletics I wanted the pumps on the right side
I found this video when I was designing my replacement system about a year ago. You do great work and inspired me to do a super-neat six zone install.
Thank you for sharing this information.
Take it you’re located in Canada with the black pvc? Nice work.
ABS yes…. correct
Why did you choose to use circulator pumps instead of zone valves?
If one pump zone fails then that zone has no heat but if you use zone valves and single secondary circulator and that fails then all zones have no heat
It seems nobody wants to tell anybody how much they charge for this work, I can only guess why.
This is exactly what I want to do in my house. How much would it cost to have you design my system? 13 zones of in floor hydronic heat, plus room to add 3 more when we finish the basement. And 8 full baths with 6+ heads in each, 4 washing machines, 2 dw, etc etc. I'm in way over my head 🤣
Anything is possible jt@canuckmechanical.com
❤ 👍🏼
Why so many zone pumps? Could you not just use one variable pump and zone valves? I prefer a simple condensing boiler with an indirect tank that has a domestic coil and mixing valve. Your install is very clean and well thought out. Are you going to insulate all the copper?
A work of beauty. You must the owner of the company. Your workmanship is amazing. Can I ask you a question. Where do you get your stickers
what size copper was used in this build, for the manifolds and to supply each pump?
1” for main piping 3/4” for the zones
why did you use zone valves in this install vs zone pumps on your other systems? what are pros and cons of valves vs pumps for each zone
Do you have any installs with multipule Zones (manifolds) and even more circuits? for example 4 manifolds with 7 circuits...
Approx how much does a job like that cost?
Hey. I recently purchased a new built house which has the Laars MFTCW199NA2XN. 2 zone heating with recirculating hot water for far away domestic faucets. This boiler always go to Error 42 mode and stops working in the cold season when Thermostats is on. When error 42 happens, also red light on the device on top of the boiler comes on which says LOW Water. I called few plumbers and I almost spent $700 just for visit and diagnosing to those plumbers. They come, do some touches, open and close some valve or screws and leave, and after a few hours or days, again this error comes up. Normal pressure for this boiler is between 15 to 30 PSI. But I found out if sometimes if I open the increasing valve and increase the pressure to 26-28 psi, error goes away for few hours or lucky days. Also cleaning the air valve on top of the boiler might help. But I’m really tired of this situation. Do you have any idea it may help me? Or if you located in NYC, can you visit, please? Also condensation happens in the exhaust pipe and around pvc pipe is dripping, which I don’t know what should I do about it.
Quite literally art. Hopefully one day I can be as good as you!
Why didn't you use the hydronic water feed on the tank..directly connecting it to the tank?
If you install a water softener do you need to flush it yearly?
Do cold temperatures effect the performance.
Absolutely amazing work
Do you work in Victoria, BC?
