Yeah, the fewer plastic parts, the better. It was a huge reason why I wanted to get these stainless steel variations. So worth it. Now I'm tempted to look up the model like yours. haha I'm going to have too many water fountains soon. haha

I'm glad I could help! Yeah, my wife detests the excessive noise. So one day, she tried everything. Once she removed the cap, the dripping sound was gone. Sadly, the motor will hum from time to time. I usually just give it a firm bump and it stops.

It's a favorite for ours too. One trick my wife and I learned is to put away toys for awhile (like a few weeks), then bring it back out. They'll play with it like it's brand new then. But, you're right about Cat Dancer - always a favorite.

@@therealjunkdrawer Thanks for the suggestion. I hate not playing with my cat because she used to love to play… laser dot, wand toys, etc. But it seems she got burned out. So, I will take your advice and try not playing for a week or two. It’s hard because every evening around eight, she expects to be played with, but when I break out ANY toys, she loses interest after a couple of minutes. And yes, I do know correct play techniques. (I’ve watched lots of Jackson Galaxy RUclips videos.) I just gave a friend a Cat Dancer and used your video as an example of how to play. She really liked your video, too. So, thanks again.

@@Scott-td9sl Oh, we play with our cats all the time. We have so many toys that it's easy to cycle toys in and out. But, yeah, some toys have lost their novelty like the laser pointer. They used to go berserk over it. Now? It's like watching TV to them, "Oh, look at the human playing with that funny thing." haha

I ended up gifting it out shortly after this video. But, I bought the Fire HD 10 at the same time as this video and it's holding up real well. The battery isn't quite what it used to be, but it's still holds a charge throughout the day.

@@nooneinpart In the time I owned the Fire 8, I had no issues, but I'm not on there for more than one to two hours per day, tops. Some days, I didn't even touch it. As for the case on the Fire HD 10, it's sturdy. My wife and I trade off using it every day because we play games on it and I'll read and watch movies every night on it. Zero flaking. No breaking. I've dropped that tablet a LOT. Sometimes, I could swear it would've been broken, but nope, just fine. I made the mistake once to instinctively try stop it from falling to the floor by catching it with my foot...I punted it. By the way, don't do that. It hurts a LOT! You're best off just letting it fall to the floor. haha I hope that helps. I'm already eyeing up the Fire 11 Max. THAT looks sweet!

I have a 10-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022) [what a mouthful] and that's great for doing scratch work without wasting paper, but I'm finding that reading on it is more tiring than a smaller device because I have to move my eyes quite a lot to track the lines of text through the entire 10-inch screen. Meanwhile my old Kindle Paperwhite is nice for reading text, but too small for manga/comics. Now I just have to wait another month for it to go on sale.

Yeah, I think they're basing the every four weeks on a single cat household. We've got two cats. I tried going two weeks without changing and the water was GROSS. So, I stick to weekly with these guys. As for soaking, I've done it both ways - rinsing and soaking. Both seem to work fine. Go with what you prefer there.

Sure! It took a few months for us to hit 1,000 tokens, but I'm sure we could do it again. It's pretty wild how many levels we went up unlocking that many.

Sure. I need to figure out how to screen capture better though. It'll give a cleaner appearance then. I'd be happy to share what's worked for my wife and I. We play it daily, sometimes trading off.

It’s waterproof. I’ve had this fountain for quite some time with no issue. Fountains have functioned like this for years, so you’re good to go. I wouldn’t recommend cutting into the cord and submerging it, but I’m sure you probably knew that.

They’ve grown so much since this video. Funny thing: they’ve matured enough by now so the catnip should work…it doesn’t. They are literally immune to it. The girl likes eating it but it does absolutely nothing to them.

@@therealjunkdrawer oh I bet they are! ☺️ I actually had a similar experience with my 3 from the same litter, so I kind of forgot about catnip for a year maybe and now 2 of them like it, the other does nothing. It’s super weird! My one boy cat doesn’t even eat treats! It’s crazy to me. 😹🤷‍♀️

Agreed! That is straight up annoying. I’ve also found out the hard way that if you load too many tracks with a lot of effects, it gets glitchy and plays goofy. I’m glad I bought it for $80 recently and not the full retail of $300. I’d be a little bothered by that cost for the issues.

It’s super handy for whenever I need to chop something up and don’t wanna bother with the blender.

They’re pretty much the same. I found the Walmart one to be a bit more sturdy (I use that for a coffee table). The IKEA one is a bit flimsy. I slapped my hand on it one time and put a HUGE dent in it. Haha to be clear, I’m not THAT strong. It made me look like I was Hulk smashing the bookshelf. Haha

No. None whatsoever. And, they're VERY light. Great for summer workouts, but not ideal for cold winter days.

So glad I could help. I still use this set on a daily basis. It's great for quick dicing of my veggies. I'm horrible with a knife, so this is a much safer alternative. Just be REAL careful about the blades. They didn't mess around with sharpening those blades.

Right?! I've bought dozens of toys for these two and they're favorite toy is this cat dancer. Oh...also random cardboard boxes because why would they enjoy some fancy toy that cost $30 or $40 that came in the box??? haha

Yeah, you should be fine with the large. I'm about 180 and they fit me great. I'm not sure if medium would be too small. Keep in mind, it's Amazon. If it doesn't fit, send it back and get the right fit. That's what I'd do.

Drag the triangles towards each other and basically swap them with each other. They won't seem inverted anymore and your marker will be grey and not red
