@@morganjonesosborne3814 Exciting! I would say pack more food and water than you think you might need and plan for it to take longer than you might think. We ran out of food and water about half way through lol. Definitely get in the water at the falls! I don’t think it was a particularly hard hike for someone young and fit but there were definitely some sketchy parts where you could slip and get really hurt. I recommend to just take your shoes off and wear chacos or something like that to cross the streams because we saw so many people try to stay on top of the rocks so their shoes didn’t get wet and they ended up slipping and fell in the water. Definitely take it slow and enjoy the views. My heart rate stayed pretty low, I’m also a long distance runner so I wouldn’t expect it to get very high.

Good question! I did not try to bring anything, so I don't have any personal experience doing this in the BVI. From what I have read online and done other places I think packing it in your checked bag is a good idea if possible. If you pack stuff in a visible cooler it's more likely you will get asked about it. It is obviously up to you whether you want to declare it or not but people online have said even with paying the fee it still came out to be cheaper then buying from the local grocery store. Not sure of the name of the place. It was a clothing store in Spanish wells though.

We only rented a car in North Eleuthera on two of the days and only went down as far as governors harbor. So I can’t speak for south Eleuthera. But I really liked the glass window bridge and queens bath. There are beaches everywhere, you can literally just pull off the road anywhere and you are at a beach. We ate at 1648 at the French Leave resort, the food and drinks were really good but it was pricey. Also if you go to the queens bath be sure to go at low tide!

Yes, a lot easier than I expected. We went to CVS to test before the trip.The test to come back was super easy, it takes like 2 minutes and you get the results the same day.

I thought you needed to get the pcr test can you get the rapid ?

@@LOVEHEALING_ you do have to have a PCR test to go there, she was referring to the rapid test as the one you have in the Bahamas before returning to the US.

Don’t worry! I don’t remember the name of the place but it was next to the food fair and they have a bunch of times available to go get swabbed. We got the email with our results the same day.
