Hey, beautiful people! I'm Shauné, a business owner and entrepreneur in the health and beauty space. In the health world, I'm a Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Plant-based Nutrition Certificate (PBNC) Professional, and licensed Food for Life Instructor. Taking back my health started in the kitchen and food became the foundation for my health. I lost 100 pounds and reversed chronic illnesses by fixing the food and transitioning to a whole food, plant based lifestyle. Experiencing the power of food as medicine has me on a path to empower and educate others that eating more plants could help them too. On the beauty side, I'm the owner and principal makeup artist of Red Capet Ready Makeup. Perfect salad for a perfect summer day!
This shaved Brussels sprout salad comes together easily with brussels sprouts, apples, pecans and dried cranberries. And the maple mustard vinaigrette adds a tangy touch to bring all the flavors together.
You can enjoy this by itself or treat it like a slaw and have a slaw dog. Vegan hotdog or carrot dog (for me).

Sorry but produce degrades the longer it sits out regardless if it looks nice and pretty because of the apeel coating. It is plastic free but not necesarilly healthier as people are now going to be eating nutrient deficient food. Plus we dont know the long term effects of this coating and big corporations or powerful people have never had our best interest. And i mean never.

Oh yeah!!! I've had that title....work-a-holic. Its not only bad for yourself but it affects EVERYONE around you. My tinring point for changing the definition of success was when my daughter said:Mommy will you have time to play with me today?". I WOKE ALL THE WAY UP!!! I didn't have as deep of a journey as you... but I did have a wellness journey. My life over averaged 140/145lbs. But August of 2019 I weighed my heaviest at 167lbs. I was TRULY unhappy. I had to make an immediate change!!!

I just watched every one of your Hearttalk videos. I'm very inspired by all of them.I want to confess to you that I've always wanted to work in the Fashion Industry.I've had a passion for the industry since I was twelve years old (1982).I've loved fashion even longer than that.I was very afraid to pursue my passion because it was always inplied that it wasn't in the will of The Almighty. Shaune,every day I think about fashion in one way or another. My mother was a fashionista as you know. She sparked the passion in me with her subscription to Vogue magazine in the 1980s. I want to either become a stylist or designer. I just have to have a direction.Thank you for inspiring me.
