I think the social settings are what a lot of games are missing these days. Let me pick some team mates that are chatty and love to shit talk. Nowadays you get punished for having fun and talking with friends and others. Games are always toxic. Let us match up with other toxic people if we want to. The lack of matching up with people and instead having to stumble across others that have mics is partially what is killing the gaming industry. I want to make those connections again and form long lasting online friendships again like I did 20 years ago in Halo. I don't want to have to play like I'm a solo for 15 games until I get someone with a mic that is willing to put in some teamwork and help win the match. Todays Halo is about getting points and hogging kills so that you can progress the fastest. It's no longer about winning the match so your team progresses together. Map control was HUGE in Halo Reach. If you managed to get your team in critical spots and keep those spots held down, you could control how the rest of the match was going to go and keep a massive lead.

For some reason this is one of my comfort watches for when I wanna chill in bed. All the behind the scenes stuff and the cast and crew commentaries. One of the best feelings is knowing you've got an hour+ of something to listen to and you're really comfortable zoning out and feel yourself start to fall asleep.

It’s funny that the only actor who didn’t match their character’s personality was Elijah Wood. Aragorn, Gandalf, Boromir, Gimli, Merry, Pippin, Sam, Arwen, Galadriel were perfect matches.

I assume stuart Townsend who was supposed to play aragorn was given a huge payoff and a non disclosure agreement because even after all this time hes only ever said he was fired and thats it. Id love to know how the conversation with peter went and the fall out; dont get me wrong viggo was the perfect choice but man stuart got screwed out of the biggest trilogy ever. Wild

Honestly the absence of Tom Bombadil and changing it to Arwen which saves Frodo from the Ring Wraiths are acceptable changes mostly because the two characters not in the movie as a result were mostly expanded universe bait. Tom Bombadil is from Unfinished Tales and Glorfindel is a nod to the Silmarillion.

I read fast and loved these books, to the extent that I read them too much in my early teens (9 times in a year) and gave myself verbal indigestion. I was unable to read them again for years, but then I saw these films and they were perfect. Wonderful interpretations, and the actors were ideal. No need to miss reading them any more!

I read the books way b4 hand, therefore I had to get used to the difference between them. I know there is absolutely no way to cram everything into the movie. All the bad guys were made up with my imagination. Then going to the movie much later on, I had to get used to the actors and parts that was missing ( book wise). I keep the complete set of the books, and I've got 3 CD sets of the complete movies. ❤

Ya'll have no idea what depths this story stems from lol.. Tolkien has like 12 different books written around the history and full story of middle earth. It's the most fantastic fantasy that I have yet experienced. Hope Ya'll enjoy the journey!!

THE REAL SECRET BEHIND THE SUCCESS was you take the biggest cult property in the past 100 years, find the cheapest hack director you can find, and then spend three years convincing EVERYONE it was finally going to be done right. THEN you take all the nerds and sell them on the advertising and pr, and every millennial kid on the planet that never read it - tell them it's as important as shakespeare and get them to watch it uninitiated. That's how you turn hackey shit into CINEMA GOLD, AN INSTANT CLASSIC. Morons pre-sold on the importance of something watching shit, while having no judgement. Sorry but it's still fucking garbage. You have no taste. This is shit.
