clean up animation tip #1
Just an idea for a quick video I had over the weekend. Recorded the completely improvised script on my phone, so it is what it is. Maybe this vid will help someone out there doing hand drawn clean up animation, using a method of animating I enjoy.

Very useful! I wish I had time to animate or have an idea for a short video. Plus, I'm having a love triangle with Krita and Clip Studio Paint 😂. Both programs are amazing, but I can't decide which one I stay with for future professional work once I learned everything about animation.
I personally love Clip Studio Paint for the G-Pen, that creates great looking lines for my inking and clean up animation.
oh actually that does sound very helpful on making my animation much more consistant.
I put my more "teaching voice" on for a lot of this video, too.
This video dropped just in time. I just got assigned cleanup on a complex shot I had no idea how I was gunna approach, but this workflow seems like it’ll be a big help 🙏🙏

How long does an animation liks this take?
@peluqas For this animatic in particular, it took about a month and a half to draw everything up digitally, going off of rough storyboards on paper that took maybe 2 months at most to write the script (which are also the storyboards).
@ I’m trying to animate but I only have a iPad Pro 2018 not sure if it would work . Like to merge my 2d animation to real life

Aw, if you want to make a cartoon, just do it. I made a full rough animated cartoon when I was 15, for free due to animating it myself and working with my friends as voice actors. I'm just at a point now as an artist where I want to treat my series projects more professionally and business oriented.
