You call them roach anything from 10oz upwards is a proper roach. Anything below that is a tiddler

What club is this ??
@@jeffchandler7662 mixture of all different clubs ! The lake reservoir is run by I think 🤔 they are the amalgamated or the Bristol amalgamated club thanks for your comment, kind regards John
Not 100% sure think it was a bit of both ! Jaime who had the 28lb+ caught most of his bream on a 4mt whip ! Thanks for your comment kind regards John
Was the 29 lb bloke on the pole, or mixing it up?
Hello. I was the angler on peg 18 and won with 29lb 2ozs. FYI no pole used all the fish were caught with a cage feeder and caught 9 with sweetcorn and 2 with 8mm blood pellet. I used 2mm pellets slightly soaked and then used to fill the feeder either end with hook bait in the middle if that makes sense. I started off fishing pellets did not get any bites so changed to sweetcorn when I had 6 fish in a 1 hour period (11:45 to 12:45) which were my first bites, then it went quiet, catching 5 more in the last 31/4 hrs on a mixture of sweetcorn and 8mm Bloodworm pellet.
@@rocky2u2 Thanks for the tips, it shows it's worth experimenting when things go quiet. I wondered why there was such a disparity in weights, even accounting for the obvious difference in swims. I'm guilty of persisting with tactics that aren't working, and thinking it'll come right.
Pic of the results would be nice
