Keyframed animations of going in and out of cover for the level "Into the Deep" from Call of Duty: Ghosts (2013). Since the movement was underwater, the character could enter\exit idle in various different angles. This required 13 animations for each enter and exit.

Probably one of the most underapreciated animator out there
Cod Ghosts animations have to be the most inspirational animations in a FPS video game I have ever come across. It is the perfect blend of realistic shakiness, and dramatic waviness that is very hard to come across in videogames.
Honey Badger reload is one of the best reload animations in COD history

How long does it take you to do the full process of animation for a gun? I know its likely different so if you want a specific example I'll say the Honey Badger but I just mean in general. Beautiful work as well of course.

We have this man to thank for the Honey Badger. My favorite weapon in COD: Ghosts, as well as my favorite reload animation. Even with Sleight of Hand it looks good.

Cod Honey badger reload is my fav from all the shooter i have ever played 😍😍
Always loved how the .44 was a single action but the hammer was cocked so quickly that it doesn’t matter. It only makes sense that if you’re gonna use a single action revolver in modern combat that you’d train to get as fast as you can. Also, the Honey Badger reload is iconic.

Nah, another animator made the animations for that game, I think it was Ranon from Hyper

If I may ask, have you been on a Crunch? How bad has it ever gotten? And also have you ever thought about freelance, or commissioned work? Maybe via through a Patreon?
Yes. Can't remember exactly but something like 6-9 months of 50-70 hour weeks straight. Yes. Never thought of that.
Mark, I was wondering what platform you use for your animations. Is it blender or another animation program?
Psychem Maya. I should give Blender a try though.
