@@Jan-yx5nl With 13/46 gearing it will power wheelie in 3rd, you have to pounce on the foot pegs hard and open the throttle all the way. I've gotten up to 5th gear while shifting during a wheelie. I never do clutch ups so I can't say for that method.

@@ziruk-king4466 If it looks like it wasn't abused I'd say that's a steal. Seems like once they stopped making the wr250r the used prices went up. It really is a good bike.

@@ziruk-king4466 I love it. I run it very hard and never had any major issues. The only things I had to replace were spark plugs, stator and rectifier.

@@shawnhouser6200 yes and right before planet of ice came out i had seen them a couple times by then. when planet of ice came out i was driving by the venue and saw jake walking on the road with his lady and i screamed his name while hanging out the window of the car and he looked like he wanted to kill me lol. dave used to kick it @ the bar and hang out with people. i saw portugal the man open for them when portugal first came onto the scene and didnt blow up yet. i have their pics from planet of ice tour on my myspace lol

@@willp6067 full fmf exhaust with fuel programmer(no packing in exhaust) and K&N air filter. For gearing I run a 13t front and 46t rear sprocket. Seems to be the perfect setup for mostly doing trails and still good on the roads without running through the gears to quick.

@shawnhouser6200 I'm coming from a 2011 KTM 350 SXF so it's less than I'm used to (the 350 was too much for me anyway) but it's plenty of grunt! My buddy was on his 250 EXC with me last week and he wasn't able to keep with me on the loose single track... but that could be rider over machine 😂

Hey man, I like to use 2nd gear. I went up to 46 tooth rear sprocket and it made a huge difference from the stock 43. Don't be afraid to really open the throttle up. The 43 tooth worked alright but ya had to keep the rpms even higher to avoid the bogging out. Do you also have a WR?

@@shawnhouser6200 yes I got a 08 wr. I got 13 front and 49 rear. Just seemed like 1st was short and 2nd was too long but I guess I just gotta ring it out in 1st. lol. It was a seriously fucked ip hill steep and roots and rocks/shale cliffs lol

@@KevDoesStuff They're such good bikes. I noticed with these machines the moment ur rpms/momentum go down while doing a hill, it doesn't have enough juice to get it going again. As long as the tire can keep spinning in 2nd, it can do some decent hills for what the bike is.

So the bass is set at 11 o'clock, mid 12, and high at 2 o'clock with a clean setting. The tube screamer pedal has drive all the way up and tone knob is set around 3 o'clock. If ya can, def use the neck pickup.
