I just made a chiptune remix of this myself, which lead me to this one that was apparently made just last month. Really crazy. Would you mind telling me what program you use to get those drum sounds? If you listen to mine, they're a lot different.

The original song is not used in the process. I tab out the instrumental parts in Guitar Pro and throw the midi file into a program which gives it the 8-bit sound you hear - so no vocals are necessary!

I enjoy making/listening to '8-bit' versions, so the existence 'tis justified... I don't do this for views, you know.

Honestly, I kind of always liked it better as well. lul.

I've listened to about 7, 8 BDM 8-bit songs till now, and what I've noticed is that I won't be surprised if they're played in dungeon maps or boss battles.
