Dive buddies Billy and Matt documented their camping excursion through the coastal inlets of Catalina Island earlier this month (July 2016).

thank you so much for that beach shot. ive grown up going there and never had much luck around the isthmus. i know the island so well that i know that spot by sight. never speared there before tho. been too spooked xD.
great footage! I never thought to bring a touring bike with a trailer and stack freediving gear on it. did Catalina Express allow you to bring your bike and trailer on board?

So fun. I can't believe I've lived in HB most of my life and never been there. Spearfishing has changed all of that.
Sweet video, I am going on a 4 day spearfishing trip in the begining of June, any tips? I will be using a pole spear and this will be my first time spearfishing.
Jamison Kerr attach a teacher from the spear to yourself(if you attach it to yourself I recommend about 15yds of 550 cord) or to your boat if you have one(if attached to your boat then the cord can be as long as you want).
