How are you enjoying the mint?
@averageflying Very nice brake authority and turning. Great glide. Gives understable feedback in turbulence and is sturdy against collapsing. B-line control is efficient while pushing speedbar. It took a few days after a month break to get used to Alpine thermal conditions for sure, though.

Holy shit that was wild. The suction of the clouds reminds me of the force of a rip current. Only experienced people can use it to their advantage but it's still dangerous.

Been there, done that. Big ears got me out but was pretty close to edge as well. You were quite a bit in, eek!
Definitely learn to fly your wing full speed! Fly close enough to the edge, specially if the clouds grow tall. Speed out when getting close! :-)

Scary stuff happened to me while parachuting , was considering dumping the main and going to reserve lower down when it let me go
You're supposed to tap it on the right hand side with your flight hammer when that happens.
Yeah, too bad I wanted to minimize the weight so it wasn't with me.

Have you previously flown paragliding wings? Or can you just just learn on the moustache without doing the paragliding course?
Yes first paragliding with easy wings. It is best to start with beginner paragliding course.
Why water red
Maybe sand bottom close to the surface causes the effect
I'm curious since I fly radio control gliders and when we get into hat sucker's we spiral dive out. Why don't paragliding do the same?
It is an option, but comes with risks, such as getting into stronger lift, loosing consious due to g-forces, collapsing the glider 🙃
