Beautiful song,beautiful pictures.
@@chuckjj5493 thanks! Feel free to share!
Well Done.
Enjoyed hearing how it sounds accompanying voice. Pickup might be well worth the extra $$ when ordering.
I had bought the tone rite and used it on my violin for 2 weeks. My violin initially sounded stiff but after using this, it really loosened up and the instrument really responds well now. I recommended this for my friend who is learning to play guitar. He is likewise very happy with the results.
Great song,well done.
Thanks! I think it’s gonna be a great album!
Nicely done . Wish it was longer !
Right on,great song,well done.
Bravo 🎉
Thanks! Hope there’s some music in your summer plans!
If i may ask what other guitars have you played(Larrivee for example) and how did they compare....
L’arrivée make some nice guitars. I’ve played almost every available guitar out there. I’ve owned Taylor’s, Martin’s, Takamine’s, Simon and Patrick’s. This is by far my favourite. Very comparable to a D28. Dark, rich tone with loads of sustain. I like it much better than Gibsons, Taylor’s and most Martin’s, but there are some beautiful models by those retailers as well. It is always best to try before you play, but M&M have a 7 day, no questions asked return policy. It is a quality guitar and has replaced my Martin as my go-to stage and recording guitar. No complaints at all.
@@ScottRandall31 From looking at the components (Adirondack/Rosewood) I am impressed. My only reservations are resale value(made in China) and mostly there really are just no good videos/reviews out there on it, at least by guys who can play..on this particular model especially. Yeah I get the 7 day thing..can't complain about that...I am thinking though I can get the Yamaha Red label made in Japan for the same money....much better resale..made in japan.
@@ScottRandall31 Your not a relative of the owner or someone in the company? ">) Why do you think their are not many reviews out there...just cannot find any...made me worry a bit.
@@ScottRandall31 I ended up getting an Alvarez MDR70SB which is a rosewood 12 fret. Got a used mint for half price of retail...I am much more comfortable taking a site unseen risk at the price and turns out its am amazing guitar so i feel I got pretty lucky...
Ptobably not a lot of reviews yet because a. They are not sold through dealers. b. They don't make as many guitars. c. As for China, I was under the impression these guitars were made in Canada. Look to be well made. d. That said, sound decent but until I hear one in person hard to tell from a video. I am curious as to the bracing - scalloped? X- braced? Forward shifted? That has a huge effect on sound. As does aging and full break in. I own a Raylor koa grand auditorium but would love to add a good rosewood dread- never had one. Killer mahogany dreads? Sure- D18, D40. For $ 1,395 seems like a very fair deal for the woods used and the details. The fact they are out and taking preorders when I checked bodes well for their rep. I never buy a guitar I haven't played- too much variation- but a week to try it is fair. If I love the guitar, I could care less about resale or making a profit.
What song are you playing?

@@ScottRandall31 Thank You
A guitar with a BIG voice and a nice balance!
Guitar was played straight out of the box. I just tuned it and played it.
This is right out of the box.
What is the volume like of the guitar. I’m a bluegrass player and looking at this guitar
It’s not as punchy as a D28, though I think it will maybe get there as the wood “cures” over time. Hecka sustain. Nice tone. Decent fretboard. I can do some flat picking on it no problem, but it’s not a canon. I mainly do indie/acoustic singer-songwriter stuff, but I can still pull off the doc Watson songs no problem. It’s definitely worth the money and no issues with quality at all. I’d suggest that it is more guitar than a D18, but not really the same guitar. Sounds amazing when strummed on recordings or live. Some punch for leads but not as much as a Martin. (Fellow players I’ve worked with have classic Martin’s that I’ve played often). If cost is an issue, another one to consider is the new Epiphone Gibson copies, as I hear they are amazing for the price. The Martin Mahoganies for about $1300 are very nice but not bluegrass pickers. I have a Martin X series and flat-pick on that; amazing necks but lacking in tone. Enjoy the hunt! I took a chance on this one and am very happy with it. We’ll worth the money.
@@ScottRandall31 price isn’t a issue. I’m playing a blueridge br 140a and a recording king rd 328 at the moment. Both solid guitars, just want another one in the inventory lol
@@ScottRandall31 what kind of picks do you use as well ? I usually use a thicker pick. 1.5 mm, usually casein or shell when playing with others but I’ll use a David grisman dawg pick as well sometimes.
@@whiterice9146 sorry, was hiking in the mountains. Medium picks. These are great guitars for the price.

Excellent collaboration
Thanks, Larry. Snuck it in just before COVID. Sherry is an amazing talent.
Could you post another video? Update on if you still enjoy playing it and also how do you like LR Baggs pickup? This definitely sounds better than the recording king
Will do. It’s become my main guitar . Replaced my Martin and Tak. The Tak pickup may be slightly better (comes with preamp) but I’m still getting used to it. Better than the Fischman Sonotone in my Martin. 4 mos in and very happy. I’m taking it in the road as my main guitar next month so we’ll see how it holds up.
@@ScottRandall31 Thanks Scott, I am seriously considering one of these for live work, just me singing solo
Here is an update: ruclips.net/video/fHe0jSg042Y/видео.html
@@steveshepard5522 the only issue you might have that I can think of, is that because it’s a big dread your right arm might get sore as it a big guitar with no bevel. I’m used to that having played bluegrass for years, but some people are not. Otherwise, I am very pleased. There are better boutique guitars out there, but they start in the $4500+++ range. I try guitars wherever I travel but it’s hard to justify spending 7K plus for a Collins, Bourgeois etc no matter how good they sound when I have kids in college still. Hope it helps. I love mine.
@@steveshepard5522 PS I used to be in a number of bands but now it’s just me playing acoustic gigs. This is now my main guitar.
