Graham Farish Class 50 DCC with Sound - the return

Hi All, So yes, it’s 15 years on, I’ve moved house, got married had kids and have now just got back to this project on the workbench. I tested them a month or so ago and they were unwilling….. so I have removed more gears from the “trailer” loco which is home to the speaker, and here we are testing again…..
Graham Farish Class 50 DCC Installed

This is my video of the test run I did of my installation of a ESU Loksound Micro into 2 Graham Farish Class 50 Locos
... into the "driving" loco, with connection to the motor and pickups, as any standard DCC hard-wire installation, and the other end of the connection out to the speakers, and Bingo!
Hello There, Yes, it is an ESU Micro sound decoder with the class 50 sound set burnt on, as supplied by South West Digital. I have achieved it by taking two class 50 locos, stripping the motor and linkage out of one so that it free runs - and installed the speaker in the space vacated by the motor. I split the cables to the speaker and installed a 2-pin microplug - supplied by DCC supplies, which fits neatly in the same space as the loco couplings, and the chip is hardwired...
HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?????????????????????????/
THESE SOUND FANTASTIC!!!! At last sound in our farish are these esumicro sound decoders expensive and would howes or swd fit them???
