Diesels only produce .5% CO Whereas gasoline engines produce 11.% CO ( non catalyzed on both) over 20 times as much! so I would say there’s far more worse things to worry about than the diesels and a late model diesel WITHOUT all the emissions bullcrap late model diesel without the emissions runs FAR cleaner than say a diesel from the 80’s or even 90’s , their just built better, so they need to leave our diesels alone! These emissions people are putting a bad name on the diesel engine to where 10-15 years ago they were a great engine Bottom line is- do a emissions delete kit on your eco and you’ll be so happy you did along with your wallet And by the way you need to get to the point or main structure of your video much sooner I stopped watching about 2 min in basically after your comment about the environment We’ll see how you like that eco in about another 50k the emissions on that eco will cost you more than that jeep is worth all the maintenance in the world is not going to stop all the soot going back into your intake NOT getting re-burned diesels don’t work like that they combust under extreme pressure that’s why they have such a high compression ratio Take an eye dropper of fresh diesel on a plate and put a lighter to it see what happens then do the same with a DROP of gasoline ANYTHING they try and do with diesels as far as their primitive emissions will ALWAYS plug up and cause problems The only thing that may work would be a type of charcoal filter at the end of the exhaust that you could replace every so often cheaply and easily all the rest of the crap is for the stealerships to get rich on all you not deleting the emissions

I’m about to buy one of these next year never had a diesel vehicle but at my job I get to drive them every day. I love the gas mileage it gets. To be honest, I don’t mind doing maintenance on my vehicles so this looks very fun

Ur sons car is a clutchless compressor and the one on ur daughters car looks like it has a clutch but the sensor in the back of compressors are always usually a pressure switch

Im having the oil pressure light on my audi a4 2008. Took it to the mechanic he changed the oil sensor . I drive it home and the next day after some few minutes drive the oil pressure light is back on.

I'm new to suspension upgrades and I was planning on installing some Icon RXT leaf springs to handle extra load. Will this sway bar work with a rear suspension lift? Would a sway bar been needed if the leaf springs are strong enough to handle the loading in the bed?

Original 6 volt generator will have 2 oilers, and there is an oiler on the distributor .

That logo is the Mayflower that docked at Plymouth Rock MA. I have a 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe with Overdrive . Sure helps at highway speeds. !950 was the last year for the woodgrain dash.

Just picked up a beautiful Survivor… 1949 dodge deluxe four-door… 37,800 miles… Mint interior… Hasn’t been driven on the road since 1972… Presents beautifully… Love these cars… Super reliable… Back in the 70s I drove my 52 Dodge halfway across Canada and back! We still have that car but the rust demons have attacked it and we have yet to fix it.

If I remember correctly there is a shear pin of some kind on the compressor pulley to keep it from blowing the belt of the compressor seizes. If the pulley spins freely it's because the compressor was taking too much force to spin and it sheared the pin. At least that was my understanding.

What year is your a4? Did you have to get the climate control module programmed?

Alternate is part of 12 volt conversion, it came with a generater

Did u just leave the backing plate on and change parking.brake shoes?? I need to replace my friebds backing plate. Is it held on by 4 bolts and do I need to press out bearing in the process of installing a new backing plate that already has new parking brakes attached? Hers is destroyed. Thanks

Given that the system is empty after you replace the compressor, AND the fact that the compressor always runs, I have to assume it's bad to run without a charge as there is insufficient lubrication for the compressor?

You need to check AC Compressor Control Solenoid Valve and make sure it works. Compressor can still be good but Solenoid valve is bad.Also compressor on audi are clutchless. Also common problem on audi is pressure switch.

Also make sure your doing the cam followers on a regular basis

Oil pressure issues on these cars is due to the blance shafts inside the oil pump most of the time
