    I played the M. Just put the T grind 58. I like it a lot! Toe down heel up very vertical like a putter the club goes through tough around the greens. Cuts like buttah

    This is completely wrong. He’s hitting poorly because he has a natural “arc” to his putt. People who putt with a near zero arc and straight through are the people who use face balance putters. Face balance golfers are more consistent and toe hang golfers are those that are more off center strikers.👍🏻⛳️🤷🏼‍♂️

      @@andrewgerred I just bought a M1 2016 for $175 with Aldila 110 rogue x stiff and it’s way better than any driver I’ve tested. Absolutely amazing driver

    Nice bag!! I have a U-505 4 iron, T200 5 & 6 iron, AP3 7-9, and a T150 P & G wedge. It's such a great setup. I only got the T150 stock wedges cuz I rely so heavily on my AP3's to hit the green, but they all blend perfectly together and they're all great clubs

      @@golfcoachpaul thank you! I had a bunch of clubs stolen earlier in the year when I left my bag at the range and walked to the proshop. So instead of just buying more ap3's I got a a split of T200's and T150's and then a Utility iron to match. It was originally just gunna get the T200's but I fell in love with them both and it turned out to be an overall great combo set

    Your slow motion literally shows you that you are starting with an open face. Face balanced putters and mallets are for pendulum straight back putting… Telling people it’s not going to be effective because you don’t do it is dumb.

    What determines if you need more forward bounce versus rearward bounce? Steeper needs more forward? The forward is better on full shots? Thanks!

      Hi Joe, thanks for watching and the question! The forwards bounce is the entrance to the turf, the rear is the exit from the turf. For sand shots, the trailing edge and sole width will determine the depth of the divot. If you can’t test outdoors, try an open face off a firm carpet, usually on the side of a simulator or indoor bay. If you can get the ball midway up the screen on a 20-30yd type swing, then that can fit your game.

      Thanks for watching and commenting. I do have to say, I was really thinking about the 22, but that smaller head and no sightline got me. You typically give the existing one the first test in these. In my Titleist GT driver fitting video, the first driver pretty much is what I wind up with. Definitely not done intentionally. What were you hoping to see in the results of the video?

      @@golfcoachpaul sorry, wasn't being negative. I appreciate its difficult to test everything. Its always easier to sink the second putt after having seen the line and pace. Perhaps for the longer putts, hit 3 balls with one putter from a spot and then move to a completely different spot for the next 3 balls with the other putter ? Could be a little more representative

    L Grind is Better than T for a "steeper" Player's or if you tend to be More Out to In (cutty). Shallower Delivery and/or more of an In to Out (draw) Delivery. "L" is for "Leftie", BV's custom Grind for Phil Mickelson, back when Phil was still affiliated with Titleist. T Grind is very close to a 'low Bounce' M Grind, with D Grind being a 'high Bounce' M.

    Had a Pro Plat for several years and decided to make a change. I went to the store and putted for 90 minutes and came away with the Squareback - felt the weight distribution was better for me and i actually liked the weight and feel. Getting different weights to see a diff, but my last two rounds i putted so much better. Different “strokes” for different folks!

      That squareback will give you more stability for sure. That’s the design, the look of a Newport 2 but with less rotation. The heavier weights should be a big help too!

      Was between the Betti queen bee 6 and Scotty Newport. Bought the bettinardi and immediately went to my home course putting area and hated it. Swapped it for the Cameron and shot a 76, 76, and 78 all due to chipping and putting. Was playing a ping anser for the last 12 years so the Scotty wasn’t a drastic shift just the same putter but way sexier and so much better. 😁😁😁

      @@golfcoachpaul Thanks for the reply. You mean the GT3 driver? I was personally interested in a mini driver myself to replace the 3 wood spot. So it would work as a second draw biased, slightly shorter and more accurate driver. 3 wood is only used of the tee anyways. Although maybe the new GT2 13.5 degree wood would serve that purpose?

    Pound for pound, you ain't going to get better. After the pound, your paying for nothing more than vanity. And I fell for the Vokey (mass produced) trick. IMO they've been the worst wedges "I've owned". Dull, clicky. I loved the Mizuno T series and Cleveland 588 & CG10 wedges I had back in the day.

    I’m looking at getting the 58-4T grind. I’ve been using my Vokey 54-10S around the greens in Corpus and sometimes struggle. I’m thinking the 4 degree bounce will really help on the thin lies here. Bermuda can be brutal around these greens.

      The T grind is magic for the southern Texas grass.

      I carry a 54° S Grind and a 58° T Grind. I will use the S Grind when I want less Spin off a Tight Lie or when I want More Bounce, such as from longer Grass or if the Ball is sitting up (Flyer Lie) The T Grind comes into play when I want More Height and/or More Spin from Tighter/Firmer/Thin Lies. Choosing the "Right Tool" for the circumstances of the overall situation.

    I have a slight arc in my putting stroke.I have tried both DB and crank hosel, they both feel great, I missed some and made some with both putters. Now I’m just trying to decide on either spider tour x DB and Odyssey tri hot seven crank hosel. Still leaning towards odyssey. 🤔

      If they are very close, I typically use left to right breaking putts for right handers to break the tie. Left to righters, especially 12ft+ will usually make one stand out over the other.

    Fortunately I figured this out in the early 90s after inheriting my grandfather's Zebra putter. Upon using it I immediately started pushing everything right. Went back to my Ping AYD toe-hang putter and started dropping putts again! I definitely have an arc stroke...and prefer to err on the side of a hook roll.

    Paul really appreciate the video, but the editing it impossible to follow. You mixed up the X/Z grinds and then never clarify which one you are testing when you are chipping...then you pull out a Wilson wedge?!! The whole video left me confused as to what you were actually using.

      @golfcoachpaul You chunked and bladed that grind 80% of the shots. Sure the 20% you hit well looked the coolest. But for score in the long run I think it would be worse. Better for highlight reel and worse for score. You aren't a bad pitcher of the ball but you aren't great either.

    I just bought one used at PGATSS. It first day on the course was today. It saved me on several close calls with a tight lie or two. It also is great in the sand. I recommend trying it at a fitting if you get a chance.

    only a hand full of people can pull off a straight putting stroke. When measured, most actually have an out to in stroke. He's correct that the FB putters are in and out of pro's bags. Almost all putters that have been used long term on tour are toe hang putters. I do know some very good players that use FB putters with much success but they practice daily. Also, some golfers (not a lot) prefer FB even though they putt w/an arc.
