My name is Josh. I love the outdoors and I have a knack for DIY projects. I believe that adventure starts when you leave the front door. It doesn't matter where you are going, it just depends on the mindset that you take with you! Here I will post videos of my adventures in the wild and in life. Let's learn something new together!

Super filmik 💪👍
Yes I'm getting one now appreciate the video
I have honda 2004 CRV and have been wanting to convert it to a camper so I can live there and leave my husband for good!
Haha! Exactly the same! Hope you did well!
what do you think is better: new husband or new car? (converted car...) Have a 2006 CRV II and think about doing a conversion... Best wishes 4 u & your 2004 CRV sjl
How did you make the bed frame.
Unfortunately I can't make a video about that because I don't have that car anymore. But I'll try to describe it for you. removing the back seats gives a lot more room and they come out pretty easily with 4 bolts each. The bed frame is 1/2 inch plywood with 9 inch 2x4s for legs and 1x2 boards along the edges to give some rigidity. If I remember correctly the bed frame was 31 inches wide. I cut the wheel well shape out of cardboard and transferred that shape to the plywood. There is a hinged section on the front to be able to push the front seat back, but my girlfriend at the time was short so I just left it pushed forward most of the time. There was also a hinge on the corner leg that rests on the smugglers hold so you could fold it up to access that area.
Dude! this is the reason I got a CRV! You perfectly executed what my plan is! Time for me to do it. Thank You!!!!!
Smart 😂
I wish Hercules had a 16 in chainsaw since I all ready have several batteries.
Remember chainsaw enthusiast including people in Texas ....no pun intended....!!! When The chainsaw starts to produce sawdust stop....!!!! A properly sharpened chainsaw will always make small wood chips...!!! Wood chips good sawdust not good....!!!!!
Am I wrong or is it dangerous to cut something longer than the bar?
Thanks buddy! 🎊
Just watched your video. Good stuff! I'm going up to Payson on Thursday, 2/15 to see this! Thank u
Ingenious, well thought out, and executed!! Thanks for the tour. My '05 CR-V and I appreciate it 😉
Wow. And this is the future leadership of our country. I thought you Rexburg kids were idiots around packsaddle lake but you just stepped up your game. You have no business being on the river. Your circus music was the correct choice. You are lucky that it didn't end with the mario Brothers theme of dying. You definitely skated by it. Idiots
What year is it?
Great little set up mate … I believe many people over complicate their setup and their costs because we’re told we need this or should buy that … and it’s one thing I’ve long promoted with my channel and through my socials - no matter what car you own or DON’T own, just get out and enjoy the camping lifestyle and the great outdoors. Well done mate, you’re living the dream … simple set up … reliable set up … and most importantly, an affordable set up which allows you to get out there. Great stuff bud. New subscriber all the way from Sydney Australia 👍🇦🇺
good mellow crv
I just got a 2005 EX with AWD and a 5 speed manual transmission. I love it!
I got a low top, standard length E150 figuring everything else was too big. Turned it into a camper with solar and everything, but it still feels too big. Most of my time outdoors is spent, well, outdoors. I love what you've done. Really considering a CR-V with a lift; just big enough for me and my things, and could get me deeper into the backwoods.
On the 1st piece of wood you were cutting you stalled the chain which is not good on the centrifugal clutch of any chainsaw. Always allow the chain to do the cutting for you don't apply too much pressure and stop the chain. Continually doing that will shorten the life of any chainsaw.
There’s no clutch it’s electric. Has a cog attached to the motor

This is so cool I’m currently seeing about converting my CRV. It looks very spacious the way you have this set up. If you don’t mind answering how tall are you?
Thanks! I was kind of proud of the economic use of space! I'm 5ft 9in.
What is the size of hour sleeping area?
how tall are you, if you dont mind me asking
I'm 5ft 9in
Cool setup!
Thanks!
squarshes and cucumber guy before he settled into farm life
I like your setup but don't know about the Superstition mountains and " beautiful"... ;) I left the desert at a young age and worked hard so I would never have to go back.
Thanks! Haha, I guess the desert isn't for everyone. 😅
👍🏽 NICE
Where did you get that power station?
I built the power station myself. There are many available Comercially. I would suggest one that uses LiFePo4 batteries.
@@AnyAdventure thank you!
Nice build. Quick question, where is that waterfall in the intro?
That is fall creek falls near Swan Valley, Idaho.
@@AnyAdventure thank you sir!
Nf 300 ,left b4 the rd drops down toward the rest area.might be the best place to hear things you don’t want to hear.
Any link for the power inverter/solar thing your using? In Ohio. 08 crv..have been doing the same thing you're doing! Love the freeness you got going on
How did run the wire from your solar panel to inside your CRV and how did you mount it?
The solar pannel is held on with long strips of velcro. Later on I replaced this one with a hard solar pannel that fit between the crossbars and attached it with brackets. The wires just go in the rear passenger side door taped down where they go through.
Ok thanks again!
Awesome bro. Jung eun kim bless you. From north korea.
Thanks for the video, I have an opportunity to buy one 2006 , only problem I’m 6’3” there’s enough space?
My bed is 5'10" with the front passenger seat upright. You could get some more length by folding the seat forward.
Great set up. Do you by any chance have a tutorial video on how to build your battery pack with ammo box ? Would love to build one as well. Thanks
Yes, I do have a video about it. It's not exactly a tutorial, but it shows all the workings. If I were to build it again I would use a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) battery instead of AGM. They are more expensive but are lighter and can be discharged more. Here is the Video: ruclips.net/video/7GQD6ZUItI0/видео.html
Great setup! I didn't hear where you got your window covers from? Was it a universal window cover? I have the same model CRV but I heard some window covers are too small. Wondering if you can let me know where you get your cover from?
The cover from the windshield is from Walmart. The rest I made with reflectix. I just cut them to shape and glued black fabric on the back.
My buddy has been using the 20v DeWalt battery adapter for these and it's worked great.
Great informative set-up. But how do you sleep and not set off the alarm. My Honda alarm is terrible :(
I did set it off once by opening the back door while the alarm was armed. The trick is to use the key fob to unlock the doors before opening it. I would hang the keys on the hook over the rear door while I was sleeping so I wouldn't lose them.
Do you have the dimension of the platform boards used for this? I'm building one of these for my sister in-law
Dimensions are 31 inches wide by 70 inches long of 1/2" plywood. There is a hinged portion behind the passenger seat. You also have to cut the board to fit around the wheel well. I had legs that are 10 inches tall made from 2x4s, 1x2s around the bottom edge of the board to add stiffness.
I camp3d in thay exact spot in 1988ish maybe 89 I was 18 at the time. I went to that lake w my Dad years before that. My how time flys by.
What is the Oregon part number to replace the stock chain at Lowe’s the R40?
Hay I just found your channel. I own a 2020 CRV. It is just me that uses it, and I want to convert it into a camper to go on adventures like you. I would love to get a chance to take a road trip in my home state for a meetup. I am so happy that I found your channel. It is full of inspiration.
You have a lot of videos in Arizona. I also live close to where you have filmed some of these videos. Maybe we could do a meetup???
I just watched your camper conversion of your CRV. I own a 2020 CRV and have always wanted a camper. The advantage of converting a new car is that the mechanics are good. I will have no issues doing the conversion and worrying about the mechanics of the vehicle.
I see how you have your chair with the back towards the open tailgate of your vehicle. Well played sir! Well played!
New sub ! Liked 🤩😉🙏
Great setup, I didn’t know the rear window of the crv opens that way, one more reason to get me an old crv 🤣
Realy beautifal hike!
Amazing conversion. I have exact same SUV n planning to do similar conversion. May I ask what is the thickness of the plywood u used for the bed platform? 1/2 or 3/4"?
I used 1/2 inch.
@@AnyAdventure Thank you🙏
