Mochy (Bottom) vs Michy (Top) - Special Match 1 @ OsakaOpen2012 -
Who is win?
I can't believe she got double 5s again and couldn't get a man off. But she got one off anyway next roll.
All right! 3 straight doubles bearing off for orange and Akiko wins with double 5s, last roll. Orange hit every blot also. Really lucky!!!!
I think Akiko made 2 mistakes. First she didn't cube when he needed one game anyway at 3.27.10 and second when she played 4:1
The "editing"is ridiculous!
You can't see the dice when they're in the top right corner.
Not only does he stack the checkers on top of each other, he makes sure they're straight so you can't see there's more than one! How many games doe he have to play before he realizes we can't see them????? And no one says a word!
That's twice the camera failed to show him being doubled as it was focused on their faces! Real prof.
Akiko was SUPER LUCKY !
Mochy EXTREMELY unlucky in the 3rd game. He could've won with ANY dice except 6-1 and he got 6-1 and Akiko immediately got 6-5. I don't believe it.
how can they concentrate with those ignorant gits screaming and shouting and squawking all the time
Never seen a player so afraid of the cube!
why we need clocks
What a dumb question
Akiko😃😃😃😃😃😃
Αkiko £∆\\\😉😉😉
A chess player play faster then them.
What’s the brand of this board? I like it pretty much.
at 7.10 XG says the best play is 6-3, 6-1. Akiko's play wins more games but loses a ton more gammons.
@@easyguitarsongs3351 - What IS good to say about her play is as I have already said, it wins more games, and at DMP her play is joint best. So ok, she made a significant error, nobody is denying it, but it was an error worthy of a super-grandmaster.
@@easyguitarsongs3351 ...Rolled it out 1296 times at 11 away, 11 away 6/3 6/1 wins 35.98%, loses gammon 9.78% 7/2 6/3 wins 34.91%, loses gammon 21.61% 13/5 wins 30.69%, loses gammon 17.75% 7/2 7/4 wins 37.36%, loses gammon 42.36% But I think we can all agree, it was a tough play to make over the board. She went for the win, that's how she plays, no compromise.
Taking that 4 cube can't be right
XG analysis says it's a tiny error to pass. To get this right over the board is super impressive. Mere mortals like me would have passed this in a heartbeat,
@@mobiusklein9140 I think its a tiny error to pass for this one game. But its a match. Race to 11. If he pass, hes got one more chance. If he loses after taking the 4 cube, his chance is zero. I dont know if the computer knows its a match.
@@bng357 - I'm pretty sure I inputted the score into XG, but I can't be 100% sure. Will analyse it again when I get a moment
slow
The one and only AKIKO 😎
Wtf where is the rest of 2nd match -.-
wtf
wow wow that last game was INSANE / BRUTAL. I thought for sure Falafel was going to gammon here to win the match with 5 checkers back and trapped and then she gets the hit when he was coming home and turned it around WOW insane. Just proves how crazy backgammon is and that there is ALWAYS still a chance to win the game/match no matter how crazy the odds are against you! My favorite game!!!! superb from 2 GIANTS
I have a question for Masayuki Mochizuki... - Why are you so rough? If you are a gentleman, move yourself like a gentleman!! It's a little bit violent seeing you hitting the checkers in a such way all around the board... I beg you to consider your behaviour at game as a fan of yours. Thank you.
he is arrogant and rude
Too bad there is no free time between points. Very embarrassing and it brings nothing.
In kill bill
Akiko ptetty and deadly like lucy liu
Akiko is the O-ren-Ishi of backgammon; be afraid, be very afraid.
God she can roll! Even rolled a practice cocked 5-2 @ 2hours. Though I think Falafel made a big mistake leaving 2 checkers 6away in the last game, but against her rolling I can't blame him, she hits whatever she needs to.
At 48:01 when Akiko rolls 21 she makes an extraordinary oversight. Admittedly, she doesn't lose much equity but she misses (or misapplies) a very basic concept. The idea is to leave as many high doubles as possible working as gammonsavers on her next roll (if she has one). So 8/5 is correct which works for 66/55/44. Her play only works for 66/44.
watch at 1.23.03 double one and five ones moved, hmmm is that why they play so slapdash
Oyununun kopuş noktası 3:05 gelen zar 3/1

Amazing!
15:55 - is that re-cube there? as I think there is a ~60% of gammon here... needed to roll few times more
Guys, great channel, recommended by Mochi. One small thing (in case possible) would be great if the subject line (at least subject) could sound in English. Thanks in advance.
Great Match! I don't understand Japanese, but you don't need to understand the commentary when you can hear the audience's reactions to the moves and decisions. Thanks for posting.
