This was one of those special occasions - we found ourselves on the beach in front of Marine Parade, Napier at sunset. The colours where magical and I started taking photos - moving between realistic and impressionist as the light intensified. Life on the lake can seem serene but for the Coot family it is life and death
The Streets of Arklow, I know them very well, I was first brought to the streets by Van Morrison in the mid-1970s when I first got to hear this song sung by the Man, I wandered those streets in my dreams every time I listen to this song, the stunning beauty of Arklow could only be truly explained in the words of Van's song
