Well, I suppose yes, that should be the rule, however different paints use different additives, which may impact the overall lightfastness. Those paints are avaialable as a set ot individually in 5ml tubes in Japan, We can expect the same in other markets once they are released :)

there is no English version, it's a Japanese online store ^^ I suppose you can use your browser's translate function though! :)

That's possible. Is that color also so weak in pigment? To me it seemes similar to Green Earth or that one Roman Szmal earth pigment green, bc they are all very delicate. I have none of those colors tho, so just speculating... :)

Great, I wanted people to be able to see how the paints perform and make an informed decision. We are so often tempted to buy a new product, just because it's new... I fall victim to that thinking myself XD So if my video can help anyone, it's served its purpose. I agree that some colors are undewhelming ^^

Yes, I'm aware of the discontinued pigments thing, I was lucky enough to get a little sample of PO49 from a friend who bought just the pigment, and made the watercolor paint herself! :D But I don't really think of them as an investment, I just want to use them and have fun. They should become available for purchase outside Japan soom ^^

I think in this day and age we have tons of granulating/separating/specialty watercolors to choose from, so indeed it would be hard for Holbein to come up with something incomparable and revolutionary. I suppose if someone already has a nice selection of franulating colors, there's no need to get this whole set, maybe 2-3 colors they reaaaally like :) Mimosa Yellow is not the only weak color, quite a few of them seem low tinting, eg Lunar Eclipse Red or Trumpet Vine Red also felt kind of weak, like maybe too much binder. But maybe that's just my luck and the paint deeper in the tube will behave differently

@@Mmmmagu that's very true. i think schmincke came out with a great range and we definitely saw many similar ones in the white nights' granulating colours. as time goes on, i'm sure there will be less and less 'new' colour combos/pigment combos. i was really glad we got to see u squeeze the paint onto the paper because that also gives info as to whether or not a colour is strong tinting or not. some people make swatch videos (myself included) that don't have that part for viewers to gauge so i think it was very nice to have seen that here :D

@@PaintinHiding oh, thank you for the feedback! :D to me it seems like those paints aren't extremely strong/pigmented/cost-effective, so I'd like them to be sold in 10ml tubes tbh I think it's visible in the video that I don't skimp on the paint, but still it's not very strong ^^;

Oh my gosh, thank you <3 I am already drawing and painting more! This sketchbook was unfortunate to be in a pretty tough period of my life, so it took too long and tired me a bit. I was also the thickest watercolor sketchbook I've ever made, so maybe that's why it also took longer. :)

Thank you for watching!! :) Well I used to wear a huge bright red fake flower in my hair and I did an updo and went to a class at Uni, and I've only had faint memory of hearing that my profesor studied Spanish literature? And somehow my hair and the big flower maybe made me look like a Spanish dancer a little bit? Anyway I was sitting calmly and waiting for the lecture to start when the profesor walked into the class, saw me, froze and then yelled out "KAWAIIIIIIII!!!!!!" XD I was so startled and confused??? But she told me it's because of the flower in my hair. And I was kind of thinking about that memory when I painted that BJD inspired girl. XD Here you go, that's the story. ^^; And that surgery was so scary, but worth it!

Hej, dziękuje za komentarz i przepraszam za późną odpowiedź. Nie używam raczej farb akrylowych, dla tych robię wyjątek, a błysków wiadomo że nie mogłam odpuścić. Efekt o którym piszesz dobrze zrobiłyby te farby holbein albo uwaga, nie wiem czy nie bluźnię - pyłki do robienia manicure hydrydowego! :D Np pyłek o nazwie syrenka - ale w sumie jest milion efektów do wyboru. Można by taki pyłek wetrzeć w warstwę zaschniętej farby i pokryć czymś przezroczystym! Myślę że warto sprawdzic :)

Sorry I don't think I replied to all your lovely comments! ^^; I think Holbein is known for naming their colors the same, or making the same colors, in all the media ranges. So if you like a color in acrulic, you can buy exactly the same thing in colored pencil or whatever :D I also happen to have the kuretake golden colors and finetec iridescent colors, but of all those Holbein Iridescence Acrylic is the shiniest and the most glittery/sparkling Zbysio (my dog) is always near, ready to be in front of the camera XDDDDD

XDDD I have to kind of downplay my self indulgent shopping in front of MYSELF lol ^^;;;;;;;

Since this paint us not very scratch resistant? I've heard people mostly use acrylic or oil paint for figures but... not my field of expertise 😅
