Can this imobilizer be used for 2003landrover disco v8
Hi we have a TD5 Land Rover Discovery 2 in Australia and it won't start. The hand on the dash keeps flashing when turned to start and won't crank. Found on line a immobilizer bypass plug? In behind the stereo system? Do you know about it?
what fuel pump do you use ?
Just get the ecu mapped and decoded
How to jump the green BCU for een Defender TD5 from 2005 to start without remote en immobiliser ? I dont have a Nonocom to reprogram in Australian version Thx

Is immo shutdown possible for 2001 Land Rover Discovery 2 4.0 V8 . Can you recommend an emulator?
mmm would be popular amongst thieves Headline reads "Dixon Fafrication- helping others help themselves to your discovery"
help i need a bye passbox tell how much
Just brought your little black box 😊
For a engine stand run, what’s easiest way to check oil pressure you think? Unscrew sender unit at back of oil cooler and screw in a gauge…? Also look at your website and don’t see any looms for sale. I need the black plug.
From South Africa to you. It will take years to get it back

So thats great....whats the story with the alarm? What advice do you give people in yr shop when they purchase these units
My thoughts precisely
Are you still selling these?
Have you had an answer back from your question
@@westyorks100 no i had to spend 450on a nanocom to sort it out

You sir are not just a hat stand. lol that is a fantastic thing I am going to look at putting my rotten disco engine into my 110. I will be in touch thanks. Bob
Great video, I've just been on your website and I see the immobilizer unit but not the stand alone Harness, are you still doing them?
Awesome tip
I can see the benefits of this, especially when using a vehicle for remote travel. Something I've been looking into with my Discovery 2. How does this unit affect the normal functionality of the BCU which is still connected? FYI There is also a function in the nanocom/programming to set the BCU to 'always unlock with key' so only the key blade is required to unlock and start the car. Could that function be used in conjunction with the bypass box?
Did you ever find an answer to this ? I have a defender TD5 that won't start due , we believe to the immobiliser not sending the signal - wondered if we use the nanocom to say only start with key it would allow it to start.
@@winnie6354 if your vehicle is immobilised, currently, then the nanocom won't talk to it and you can't program anything.
Hi so using your immobilizer and stand alone loom then in theory I could put this in a 109 with correct running gear of course
instablaster...
Bought one of your bypass boxes a while ago now, still not got around to fitting it, but this was the very reason why I bought it having got stranded with my discovery before! The only thing I’m tempted to do, is to run wires back into the cabin/dash somewhere with a toggle switch so I can manually immobilise the thing. Excellent product from Dixon Fabrication 👍👌
Hello: I have a question: this bypass and the nanocom works only with discovery td5? or works with discovery II gasoline V8 2000. Thank you
BCU doesn't control the ACE or the ABS, the ACE is controlled by the ACE ECU and the ABS/Air suspension is from the SLABS ECU. It's responsible only for door locks, lights, automatic gear indication and alarm system.
Is this similar to my 2.4 Defender?
No
This is excellent! I am in the process of a 1999 LR Discovery 2 with a the TD5 conversion here in the states. I see you supply the stand-alone loom & bypass. Do those items mean I won’t have to change the dash harness? This is a huge job no doubt, the hardest part for us is finding parts as there are none for the TD5 or the conversion in the USA. Been searching eBay in the UK for the electronic accelerator pedal, fuel filler neck, diesel cluster and dash harness. Will be talking with my boss about ordering your parts.
We dont ship over sea sorry
Can anybody tell me if a td5 can be put into a discovery 3 ?
Hello, will this loom work on both 10p and 15p TD5 engines?
Yes it will
You probably dont care but does anybody know of a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid forgot the password. I would love any help you can give me
@Deshawn Vance Instablaster =)
@Mekhi Kenneth i really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process now. Seems to take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Mekhi Kenneth It did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy! Thank you so much, you saved my account :D
Hi, I am considering putting a TD5 into my 2.5 n/a. Do you build looms to fit?
Hi yes see website www.dixonfabrication.co.uk
I want to fit a td5 in my defender 90 200tdi So I must need a td5 bell housing how do I do this thanks
You need the full td5 gearbox you can use a disco one but in order to put the gearstick in the correct place you need to fit the top from the 200tdi box and anadaptor from ashcroft or find a defender td5 box or cut the seat box to alow for the gearstick in wrong place
dixon fabrication thank you
This looks exactly like what I’ve been looking for! What a great device, but please tell me; am I on the right track thinking I could add this device to my Discovery TD5 to bypass the immobiliser but retain the BCU for all the other functions it performs in the Discovery TD5?
It will bypass the imo and make it run if you can get the engine to turn over by shorting the start inhibit relay but wont stop the alarm from going off

Doubt it would run long with a load, as per 300 without a lift pump
Dunstan Greenbank well obviously but the point is that they are not critically dependent on fuel pressure if there’s fuel to the head it will run
