I used to take all the giant care board cut outs outside the game shop. Really cool ones. Proper laugh. The old tunnel that reeked of pee to get to pizza costelo. All gone now

The every single song in this film , all written & performed by Ray Davies are absolutely BANG ON brilliant songs. The intro/musical fade in/start to NOT FAR AWAY are truly beautiful. All others are top class music with ‘absolutely correct lyrics’… Going Solo should’ve been released as a single ………..!!!!!!!! ‘EXPECTATIONS’ explains all in absolute truth again, both in music and particularly the lyrics. This whole film + the film soundtrack should have been nominated for and won an OSCAR award EACH!!!

That is one depressing looking shopping centre. I went a there a few times as a kid to use the bowling alley and I don't remember it being this run down in the late 90s/early 00s. Also when did teh paint change from a reddish pinkish colour to blue? Glad its being demolished and the space can be much better utilised.
