Extremely rare clear conditions and calm waters enable me to capture amazing footage of the common animals found on the ocean bottom here, as well as the first footage ever captured of the pilings of the Pacifica Pier.

After the Pacifica Pier kicked my butt time and time again, refusing to give up its underwater secrets, I decided to build a whole new type of rig to handle the uniquely brutal conditions underneath; something that can take the constant surge, blasting sand, and dark depths while also being capable of bringing in the wildlife with bait.
