In this video we took the 348 big block out of the Impala and had Folks Machine shop in Norman Oklahoma blueprint and balance the engine after Brent Crenshaw rebuilt it with all forged internal parts. After we put it back in, we cut and buffed the 36 year old black paint and got the car back to show ready condition. Trophies and cruise the coast pictures of Sherrill’s 19 year ownership of this ...

Просмотров 1,4 тыс.10 месяцев назад
My friend Sherrill and I got a 1966 nailhead 425 engine in pieces and bought a gasket kit and some replacement parts and put it back together for a mutual friend named Paul. Never had a nailhead torn down and in front of us before, and it was a learning experience. Now, I am in love with the nailhead motor and want to build one for myself. Good luck finishing your car Paul and I call shotgun wh...
1965 Lemans GTO fresh restoration and our first vinyl wrap!
Просмотров 71710 месяцев назад
Wanted to show you guys what we have been up to the last 3 months. This 1965 Pontiac did start out life as a Lemans. It now wears all the correct GTO badging. This is our first vinyl wrap and we are impressed! Thanks to Jacob at Simple Auto Styling in Edmond Oklahoma! We lifted it off the frame high enough to replace all the rubber mounts. It did not need a rotisserie because we started with su...

After many hours, the white barn find Pontiac Grand Prix is ready to go back on the road. Last driven in 1992 and put away. Out cruising again! My friend Sherrill Spears and I worked 3 days on the car in 100 degree weather. He made a couple of items for the car that were hard to find. He’s an amazing man. Something I tell all of my college classes is that they need to spend time with people old...

Barnfind Pontiac rust repair, easy DIY to make your floors and trunk with minor rust weather tight!

Today we decided to what level we would take the white barn find 1966 Pontiac Grand Prix, did a quick fix on the passenger floor board rust created by a leaky heater core, and addressed the pin holes and actual rust hole in the trunk. First detail on “Barn find” Pontiac in decades! Wash, buff and polish exterior and Deep clean seats.

We have pulled this 1966 Pontiac Grand Prix out of a shed/barn and got it to run, idle, drive and stop. Now it’s time to doll her up. Started by washing her, then applying a light acid to the exterior and finished off with a rubbing compound and a light scratch polish by 3M. Then, we scrubbed the seats we already pulled out and got them to look presentable. I think next we need to patch the hol...

Great transformation! That black grille looks great. I just picked up one of these last month to give to a nephew. Many of the black Escalades I looked at out here in California had failing clearcoat, so I picked up a 2005 Pearl White one that had been garaged all of its life. The paint clay barred and buffed out nice. Had the usual issues that GMs had for these years - bad oil pressure sending unit, bad instrument cluster stepper motors, bad cabin aspirator and bad HVAC control module. Other than that, I changed all of the fluids and it runs very nice (only has 126k miles) - now I'm thinking about getting a Yukon or Tahoe for myself :)
Pontiac supremacy baby
Ethan will LOVE this! Great work Dad! Your message brought me to tears. I am so excited for his future as well! You and Chele have done a great job parenting. So very proud of you all!
what a great dad, beautiful truck 👏🏼
You are an amazing father for doing this. I’m sure your son will cherish this car forever. Welcome to the Escalade club buddy!
58 IMPALA IS SUPER MEAN AND CLEAN. LOVE THE EXTENDED BUMPER CONTINENTAL KIT. HOW MUCH FOR THIS BABY
Appraised for $90k but asking $75k.
@garrettbenson7743 DAAAANNGG THAT'S A SWEET DEAL. WHOEVER CAN AFFORD IT WILL BE VERY LUCKY. IM PLAYING THE LOTTERY EVERY DAY, IF I GET LUCKY I'LL BUY THIS BABY QUIK
What cam is in it ?
Only 1 year design but these cars are real beauties. Thanks for showing.
I am in Tamilnadu INDIA I have 1958 Bel Air on 1988 six cylinder petrol green color so smooth to drive tyre size 7-50-14 RHD vehicle no MDR 3711
THE ENGINE IS MEAN AND CLEAN 😎
GANGZTER 58 IMPALA EZE 😎
I loved this car when it was new! But the exhaust didn't sound like that!
Need some wd40 I’m not a hater either
Now THAT is a Continental Kit! Plus fender skirts and whitewalls. The very essence of the '50s. Real classic. I'm sure they upgraded the valve system, which was "suspect" on those engines.
How much is '58?
Asking $79k. Appraised for $89k
My first car was a 58 Chevy Del Rey with a 6 and 3 on the tree. I paid $35 for it in 1972 and it ran great. The only problem is this year has a cheesy yoke design that connects with a bushing to the back of the differential. The bracket on the back of the differential would rip out from the torque and would have to get it welded every other week.
I remember one of these in blue without the conti kit parked on a driveway when I was a kid walking to school. I was impressed then as now and love this one.
Very cool 🤙I have a couple tri power setups for these.
Nice cars
the Continental kit is too much cheese
Makes the price go up a bit
Thunderbird got rid of theirs - made the car too rear-heavy and adversely affected the handling.
'56 Ford, '58 impala '55 merc
I'm more of a fan of the 57 Bel Air but this 58 is pretty sweet.
3 BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLES OF AMERICAN ENGINUITY FROM THE 50 'S !!!
is it for sale ?
😂
That is a beautifull car, I would love to own something like that but these are rare as hens theeth in Belgium
Could have had it running & driving by now. 🙄
OMG... Youre a Pontiac Nut too... very nice....
That year was better than the GTO
Happy to find your channel. I have a 1964 Bonneville convertible and just love these cars. Nice collection you have there. I have vintage British cars mostly but have a soft spot for these Pontiacs as we had a 1965 Gold & Black Bonneviille Convertible when I was a boy. I just had my 389 gone over and she's not broken in yet. I subed to your channel and will be watching your work. Bobby
I have a 425 that I'll be rebuilding. I don't know the mileage but I imagine it's low. It is locked up from sitting on a trailer under a tarp for years. With any luck I'll build a good street/strip engine out of it.
what your feedback on it so far? i attend to install it on my 78 z28 .
I just a kid and I had my 65 goat. Didn’t have much money but I had my goat!
Pretty nice but not completly factory
That's awesome. I showed mama
Wow now that was some transformation and I gotta say I love the black and I'm not even a fan of black but this GTO must have been made for that color cause I would not change nothing on it now. congratulations to whomever built this car you done an amazing job. Oh and I gotta say I could see this car coming down my street with that back in black jamming out and hearing that roar of that motor "awesome"
It’s actually a really low mileage Lemans but I a 421 Tripower in it and disc brakes and air. Nice cruiser now. It’s actually a vinyl wrap!
What's with the wheels?
I like them. It shows off the disc brakes I installed this past winter. Built it for myself.
My daddy would've loved to meet you brother. You've gotvthe fever!
❤
I pulled a 401 from a 64 4 door wildcat for my 63 electra sports coupe..it was stuck but only had 27,000 miles on it..
That's my dream car 😊😊
