    Is it possible to run the SSTS kit combined with the Works Bell Standard boss without a quick release or Rapfix Flip? Also you only need the Works Bell Extension Harness & ACC if you are running a Short boss but you don't need it for the standard right?

    • @0xadada
      @0xadada Год назад

      yes, i believe that should work with the standard boss w/o the quick release. You could possible make it work without the extension harness, but the wires would be tight and might pull out over time. The harness isn't very expensive.

      @kaikiatyeo this wheel is 350mm, but it should work on 330mm. The controls are on an adjustable slider. You can move them to fit the narrower opening.

      @@brz_typera how much room is there between the relocated switches and the steering wheel (depth)? The way you have the controls on the slider (STS), how much play is there to "shrink" (move them closer to the column)? I'm wondering with a 330mm, whether your fingers will constantly hit the relocated controls due to the smaller wheel diameter.

    • @brz_typera

      @@Ev0o9 I ran a 330mm last year and it worked great. I’ve since switched to 350 mm but only because it makes steering easier.

    What was the point of turning the clock spring left and right when the steering wheel was off? I’ve been needing to my install mine quick release/hub but messing up the clock spring or just doing something wrong installing it seems intimidating, so much appreciated for a response:)

    • @brz_typera
      @brz_typera 2 года назад

      @nico My point of turning the clock spring was to demonstrate that is a 5.5 rotation clockspring, and in order to verify that it is centered, you can simply count the number of rotations. When you remove the OEM steering wheel, and if it stays in the same position, you can just skip this step. If however, you wish to verify its in a centered position, you can follow the simple counting protocol I used in the video. 2.25 turns to the left (max-left), 2.25 to the right (Center), 2.25 to the right (max-right), 2.25 to the left (Center).
