Dannevirke Fountain Theatre Windows Timeslapse

We recently found a lost timelapse recording of some windows we helped strip back in February 2015, ‘Wow’, how we’ve changed. We were there to help the Dannevirke Lions Club (they’re the ones in orange) strip some windows for the Dannevirke Fountain Theatre Co, what an entertaining day it turned out to be. The windows were well past the stage of just putting on another coat of paint, they neede...

Can you use a pressure washer to get the paint off
Will this stripper remove bog as well? I have an old truck with bog on it looks factory it’s pretty thin kind of looks like super thick paint and need it gone? Thx
I am repainting my three C3 Corvettes. I purchased this product and it really did work as stated. I was surprised how well it works and this is going to save me months on these cars. I will purchase more. Very good for the U.S. market.
What is the tool you use and the stripper
how long did it take to strip the first half of the hood?
Where do you buy this at?
Do you ship to Pakistan?
Amazing & easy stripping process. What would you suggest to keep the eucalyptus bark moisterised permanently? Do you think your wood softener/ moisturiser can do the job?
Anything else before waxing and varnishing? Is the wood ready now?
Is Cooper's available in the UK?
Can I buy this in UK?
How do I get this stripper
how do you handle vertical surfaces on a car?
@ulyssesvazquez387. Vertical surfaces are easy when you pace yourself, you need to lightly spray the product in a broad sweeping motion and re-apply more product after enough has absorbed into the coating
😂 Well done. Hope this stripper is within my budget.
This was a fantastic product demo - we are renovating our 1950's house with big casement windows in the lounge room that are desperate for a paint! I've received a Coopers Kit and feel confident to use it now - cheers mate👍
Thanks for sharing this great product demo; we used the Moisturisor in our 1950's kitchen reno: carcass and drawers made of solid Douglas Fir and the drawers drank in the Moisturisor like no man's business - ended up having to buy a litre bottle! I'm looking forward to using the system on a barn-find Kauri pine dining table. And thanks for the top tip re the tung-oil rags - not many woodworking channels on yt point this danger out so cheers to you for that👍
Will this work on my fiberglass c4 corvette?
Hi, Cooper’s is excellent for removing paint off a fiberglass surface; however, you do have to be aware of the time the Stripper is allowed to soak for. As soon as Stripper has collapsed, the paint needs to be removed and the fiberglass surface rinsed with our Flusher. I've put a link in below to a Corvette we stripped the hood on coopersstripclub.com/metal-lpp1/ Cheers for reaching out, have a great day
Do you need eye protection and breathing mask or is your product 100% safe?
Hi, you need to protect yourself against breathing the strippers vapor or getting the stripper in your eyes. We always use the stripper in a well ventilated area and keep it off our skin by wearing gloves.
@@coopersstripclub I have some on order..
No vapors to worry about with this chemical?
Hi lprifti2347. For indoor use, make sure there is cross-ventilation that removes any vapour buildup. We also recommend you place a pedestal fan near the window, pointing outward. This will help to draw the indoor air out of the room
@@coopersstripclub thanks for the reply, I just went ahead and got an IR stripper cuz I have some 1500sqft to do and it’s vaporless
This was lead paint? Are we supposed to be wearing heavy duty masks and all that still?
Hi rebekahs8964. There were multiple types of paint on this window, including lead-based paint on the bottom layer. Traditionally a mask is needed if you are producing lead dust by grinding away with a sander or releasing lead vapours with a heat gun. Our method of lead removal is safe because the paint comes off as a wet paste and is easily contained for disposal without producing lead vapour or dust
How I can order it
Hi adamprovidence. You can find it on our website at coopersstripclub.com and select "buy now" for delivery
How do you get the old putty nice and smooth for painting?
Hi heatherobrien7782, the old or cracked window putty will need to be removed and replaced with fresh putty. It is extremely important you re-putty after stripping the paint because new putty will be dissolved in the same way as paint. however window putty that has had time to completely cure and harden will not need special attention or protection
Looks great, would it work okay on and not damage an aluminum yacht mast?
Thanks, it's great on aluminium, please send some pictures to enquiries@coopersstripclub.com and we'll be happy to assist you in detail
Is it safe with lead that’s under several coats of paint?
Hi, one of the things Cooper's is really good at & that is safely removing lead paint & that's because it by strips it without creating any dust You can check some of videos out on coopersstripclub.com Cheers for reaching out, have a great day
Work on lawn mower decks?
If it's some sort of paint then yes, if you want, send us a picture of the patient :)
Just brilliant! I tell everyone on RUclips in the automotive world of restoration, collision repair and the do it yourself individual about "Cooper's Stripper Club"! I don't know if I helped sales, but when a product is good, I tell everyone. I am rebuilding a 1967 Chevy C10 pick up for myself, retired yet fighting back pain. As a tech at dealers, service manager at a boat dealer (34ft boats/ twin engines) and 8 techs working for me, I taught them electrical, voltage drop, grounding, etc. I left the dealer for a newspaper add need an instructor. It was ACDelco. Holding tech seminars in 7 upper Midwest states on 30 subjects. Now my time to build a vehicle with a used newer fuel injected engine from my son's 03 Tahoe after a winter black ice accident. I was welding, updating electrical and one serpentine belt drive and adding A/C from salvage yard. He stopped doing body work, if sanded what I could, then painted it. I witnessed cracks form over body work he had done after I bought him many parts to start a lawnmower business. He stopped. The truck fits my 6'3" frame and a daily driver. Thanks for your companies products. DK ASE Master Tech since 78.
Hi Dean, Cheers to you your kind words, we really appreciate it when users of Cooper's share there experiences with others, word of mouth is definitely the best form of marketing Would love to see a few pictures if you have any of your Coopering results Cheers again, have a great day :)
@@coopersstripclub I do believe in a product that works, I tell everyone. I am having 40 year old lumbar pain starting as Dr. predicted with live nerves trapped in scar tissue that was my low back. At 6' 3" tall, I've had 14 lumbar procedures and trying to work thru the pain that had nothing to do with cars & bending. I just want to have my 67 Chevy C10 truck to drive. Sharing the Cooper's product story is all my pleasure, but I don't have a RUclips channel because I can't be productive. God bless you both, as I look at another doctor for a small chance. Pain only reminds us that we are alive;)
@@coopersstripclub I love your new wording. "Coopering"! Excellent. DK. Omaha, NE. You folks remind me of my maternal grandfather and grandmother! She cooked and he tinkered. At age 7, I went to California on the train to stay at her sister's home walking outside to pick oranges for breakfast, but it was Orange County! My grandfather was an electrical engineer who operated field generators that made 3 different voltages for mobile radar units. He would solder tin, wire, washers to make toy airplanes, trains & cars! They became Christmas presents and donations in Manhattan, Kansas to a children's hospital and grew watermelon, cantaloupe and squash. I miss them both!
can be used on plastic elements like bumpers ??
Hi, yes Cooper's is excellent for removing paint off a plastic bumper
What does it do to plastic filler
If our Stripper is left on for longer than is needed for paint it will dissolve the plastic filler as well
Hi What's the name of this product exactly? Thanks
Hi, the stripping product is called Cooper's Stripper & it is promoted under the name Cooper's Strip Club. All our details can be seen on coopersstripclub.com Cheers, have a great day
Thank you kindly
Did several trips on the "Ferns" including Auckland to Wellington. A really smooth ride and fast too. I think we got to over 100km/h several times. I got a ride in the cab for about 30km.
Cool, when i was a kid i lived on a farm that was chopped in half by a rail way line and on that rail line the Silver Fern ran, i really enjoyed watching it blast past. It's interesting how many years later i would be stripping the graffiti off it. Cheers, have a great day
What type of paint was on the corvette; lacquer, enamel, urethane?
Hi, the owner of the car told me it was lacquer, but i do know it will strip all of those types of paint. What i can say is it was recently painted before it got caught in a Californian wild fire Cheers & thanks for asking
"Are you looking for a stripper? A stripper that really gets it off?" Yeah, aren't we all ammi right
Work from the top down .🤪
Interesting It’s hard to tell from the video, but how long was this process. Paint to metal? Is this product available in Canada?
Hi, the overall project was finished in under an hour, however, the actual amount of work it took was about 20 minutes, the rest was waiting for the Stripper to do its thing. Cooper's is made in New Zealand & supplied directly to our customers in Canada through our Online Shop shopus.coopersstripclub.com/ or by purchasing directly on our free call number 1833 579 0489 For fast delivery, we airfreight to Canada & freight is free for any purchase over $149 Our different products, in their different sizes, with prices can be seen on the Online Shop Thanks for reaching out, have a great day
The original had an Edison, instead of Victoria. Edison was not interested. Victrola was, but obviously did not want the competitors piece on their logo… hence the change😁

What is the best formula to use of Cooper’s for black lacquer removal? Also, the table has some brass in it.
Hi, can you send us a photo of your project to enquiries@coopersstripclub.com for us to have a look at so we can comment on how to use Cooper's on it Cheers, have a great day
Is cooers striper still available? Someone was saying you can't get it anymore
Absolutely, i wonder who thought we had gone away :)
Some explanation of what is happening in the video would be helpful.
I agree, the video you saw was from a demonstration i did for a client & we caught a bit of footage from it. The link below is a tutorial of some cedar being stripped with all the info you'll probably want Cheers, have a great day. coopersstripclub.com/projects/cedar/

Copper's is no joke! From automotive paint to varnished windows, doors, stairs & balusters and more. Please, tell Mario on this old house and the sub's.
i agree, but who's Mario?
@@coopersstripclub Mario is the the master painter, varnishing and remover, teacher on a Public Service Channel on a public American TV show called "This Old House." A very popular show as seen on Digital over the air shown Nationwide weekly on cable TV and regular TV. The show is on PBS in the states for forty years. Mario and a couple of licensed or few with years of experience and cover the home rebuilding trades. Sorry!
@@coopersstripclub Where are the MSDS for your products?
I was taught to never use a chemical stripper on fiberglass because it causes the fiberglass to delaminate and react.
I understand, people usually wrap the car in plastic after putting the stripper on & leave it for ages, a real fibreglass killer However, with Cooper's there is no wrapping required & you only leave the stripper on until its done its job, resulting in a stripped surface thats clean, without any damage being done to the fiberglass

I think my cedar boards have been stained, can I get the stain out?
Hi, yes it will Here's link to a cedar weatherboard video coopersstripclub.com/weatherboard-stripping-lp1/ Can you send us picture of your project Cheers
I want to know why the neck you aren't putting that stuff in a pump or electric slrayer.
Hi, the Stripper will kill most electric sprayers / weed sprayers, however to speed up the application process we recommend a gravity spray gun, they are quick to set up & real fast to clean and do a real good job Cheers
How do you remove stain from wooden doors? I've bought stripper. It gets the paint and varnish off but I'm having difficulty with the stain.
