They are cartoons, they are only as strong as they need to be to beat whatever they are fighting at the time. If superman had all the power he is shown to have, he would not only never need fear anything or anyone, he could end all conflicts within a fraction of a second after anything starts. With the exception of K (allthough he should be able to lasereye it) His flight in atmo of earth alone is so unrealistic it is senseless, moments where he flies near lightspeed would cause radiationwaves that would decimate the earth from him bumping into air molocules and solar rays. Its all up to the shows creators if X beats Y. (fill in what you want) If you line up feats though. Superman would make any character from Invincible look like paper dolls. Much like a viltrumite would squash Homelander.. (a guy that could be nearly beaten whilst fightting in a single building without it getting taken down)

All true, until the Viltrumite's tech figures out the specific radiation band that kryptonite makes and hits Superman with it and kill him. Or reproduce the rays of a red sun. Neither of which should be hard at all with their described level of tech. The question then becomes with thier strict code of ethics in battle, would they use such? Would they be able to force Superman to kill?

I think people forget that Viltrimites can travel through space unimpeded without a need for helmets. They send squads of them out into the universe to all sorts of different planets. If their universes ever collided I guarantee the Viltrim Empire gets its hand on some kryptonite. If you think one dude can defeat a galactic entire empire you’re crazy, remember how fast they found Allen, pulled up to his space station and wrecked him and the station? It’ll be that simple the moment a single viltrimite finds kryptonite. Oliver could wreck Superman as a baby just give him a Kryptonite rattle 😂😂

Superman is one of the most inconsistently written characters in comics. He has hurt by high street levelers to surviving black holes. His consistency is about the same as Bugs Bunny. The supposed feats in Injustice are just as bad, even when we confine them to just this version of Superman. The "feat" of damaging Apokalypse just by trading punches is itself ridiculous as Superman's numerous performances on Earth did not cause anything comparable. DC, and of course Marvel too are terrible in terms of continuity of character capabilities. The Silver Surfer arguably being the worst of the worst in wild extremes of performance.

Viltrumites have to hold their breath in space if Superman punches any of them hard enough and they release their breath. Superman could easily kill every single Viltrumite with one or two punches.

He’d most likely beat Nolan & conquest after a long fight but Thragg & Mark(especially current mark) would most likely win the only difference would be Thragg would kill him while mark would let him live
