so toots also saw the magic in tom's music. he always looked for genius and then played it so you knew who was at work. i love the harmonica, love jobim and am deeply affected by this music. this is the symphony from brazil. rarely do you see all this combined with mr. garcia thrown in too. wow ! thank you for a time that produced this.

Hi Daniel, Isn't it grand when we look back and see that all that we are comes from deep roots grown by wonderful people who came before us. In your case your granpa, in my case my father, who use to sing at home Noel Rosa, Dorical Caymmi and Ari Barroso songs. 4 times I went to Russia teaching and performing my music. Russians eagerness to to learn, their extremelly high music education and easy Portuguese pronunciation made my vocal students sound just like a Brazilian choir. All the best.

Dear Paulinho Garcia, my grand father past away long time ago. He was a director of a school where we was dictated what kind of music he was to teach. And yes it was in Russia. But every time we would gather up at home he would always play for us masterpiece written by Antonio Carlos Jobim or he would sing like A. Gilberto ( at least he would pretend) and me and my brothers would always ask him--Grand, what kind of music this is ? Who made it ? And only now I know. Thank You. Life is music
