The Wonky Garden
Friendship is at the heart of The Wonky Garden, a community garden in Halton, Cheshire. We recently joined this It’s Your Neighbourhood group for a day of gardening, laughter and cake. Chair Angela Hayler and her fellow volunteers told us about the friendships flourishing in their community garden.
Friendship is the theme for the 60th anniversary of RHS Britain in Bloom and throughout 2024 we have been highlighting friendships flourishing through gardening together. Read them on our website:

We hosted 72 primary school pupils at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2024. Great to see a relatable person not planting in a manor in South East England. RHS need to realise there we don't all live in Hampshire and Devon.
