Why don’t the Phillies just get ahead of the other teams that are also looking for an outfield bat and go after a big name player?We have some good prospects that are not coming to the Phillies because they are blocked by players currently on the team so trade them and get someone that will help the team not only this year but years to come

Your show was actually decent while it lasted, no point now, that the Phillies are Fd.. Harpers mvp is ruined.. The season is ruined.. Thompson is a 🤡. They must sit harp at strategic moments.. Schwarber in L was a joke. Thompson thinks hes playing Nintendo baseball.. Now they'll prob overpay for a hitter.. if they trade Miller, Crawford or Painter.. im out..

If Harper and Schwarber are out long term, I predict they go 7-17 in July. The schedule gets significantly tougher as they face teams like the Dodgers, the Braves, the Twins, the Guardians and the Yankees next month. Those teams would be a handful with Harper. Without those guys, they are in deep trouble.

The silver lining could be this might force the Phillies hand into getting one more bat for the outfield.

Ruben, you express yourself so well, you respect and explore the fine points and help listeners understand without panic. Also, I grew up watching your dad vacuum clean the SS area and beyond. People should not forget him as one of a long line of great Phillies fielders at that position: Amarao, Wine, Bowa, Rollins, Galvis, etc., etc. We are spoiled with stellar middle infield play.

Never play Schwarber in the field ever again.

They will go with Sosa at 3b, Bohm at 1b against LHP. Bohm at 3b, Clemens at 1b against RHP.

No depth in the minors. That’s a problem. Clemens is not a full-time MLB player. He’s a short-term fill-in. Gotta roll with Merrifield every day, and give him a shot to get hot.

They have the pitching, plus they're 25 games over .500. If they play 30 games or so without Harper/Schwarber and go 15-15, then they're still at 68-43. Not worried.

Harper grabbing his hammy reminded me how Ryan Howard tore his Achilles on the last play in the playoffs against Cincy; ending the WFC run as one of the best teams of the mid 2000's Not a good feeling. Not a good feeling at all.

It's funny how Sanchez's contract and Walker's trip to the DL nearly happened on the same day. I think he's out considering somebody's got to give up a spot for Andrew painter.

Let's give Turnbull a standing O when he walks to the mound for his first start at home....we need to send a message....I think Turnbull might be the biggest steal by the Phillies...he can flat out pitch...period

Dombrowski is doing exactly what Howie does with resigning players before they hit the open market...its a winning formula and this Phillies team should have a long run
