Valley Transportation Stepdeck Trucking Oversized Load #trucking
I'm surprised they don't require you to have a pilot car on those roads. Here in Oregon I usually see a pilot car in front of oversize loads on narrow roads like that. Though sometimes I wonder if it's an actual trained escort, or just the truck driver's wife driving her car with an oversize load sign and a magnetic light on it. They don’t always look very professional.
@@MaxZomboni yeah it’s crazy how some of the states are set up PA is up to I think 13’ wide before requiring a pilot car I was 12‘10“ Ohio is the same thing now I got lucky on one load in Ohio. I had a pilot car, but I didn’t according to the state needed. I needed that pilot car more in Ohio more than anywhere else on the route. I think you’re right sometimes it’s either a company mechanic or a friend or family of the driver.

Boo hoo
3:00 Nope. This is entirely a civil issue. But boot lickers love their blue line clowns. You are also wrong about compensation for down time, or a lease, or anything else. You are entitled to be made whole. Instead of posting stupid shit on the internet contact three lawyers and interview them. Only advice I am giving.
Your level of ignorance is amusing, but I do appreciate the feedback. You clearly have zero understanding of how the transportation industry works, but I do appreciate you taking the time to comment that is appreciated I have every right to not be happy about the company I drive for not compensating my time. This idiot has cost me miles which cost me on my paycheck so no, I’m not happy about that. This whole situation could’ve been avoided Had he set his brakes.

The weird part is I saw my tire rolled away across the lanes. It was kind of funny. Not sure where it ended. Then my company wanted me to go chase it and bring it to their yard. I don't think so.
Yeah, not fun. I slow down the video and you can see the tire from the passenger side go up over my hood past my windshield and disappear behind me somewhere on the driver side go to wonder what the company was thinking go chase down a tire that has disappeared wow, crap like that always amazes me
